“The agency is addressing the matter in accordance with internal protocols and the relevant contract, which included placing the operator on non-driving status,” the SFMTA said.

California DMV Admits to Illegally Issuing 17,000 Commercial Licenses to “Dangerous Foreign Drivers”

California’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has confessed to illegally handing out 17,000 non-domiciled Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) to dangerous foreign drivers who have no business operating massive semitrucks or school buses on American roads.

According to U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean P. Duffy, the discovery came as part of an ongoing audit by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

According to the Department of Transportation, each of the 17,000 non-domiciled CDL holders has been issued notice that their license will expire within 60 days, as it no longer meets federal requirements.

FMCSA is now requiring the California DMV to hand over a full audit of all non-domiciled CDLs to verify that every unlawfully issued license is revoked and that the state corrects the systemic failures that allowed this fraud to occur.

Federal auditors found that over one in four foreign driver records sampled in California failed to comply with federal law, including CDLs that extended beyond the expiration of a foreign worker’s visa, a blatant violation of federal safety regulations.

Canadian Armed Forces veteran Kelsi Sheren told members of the House of Commons that he has proof of veterans being offered assisted suicide.

Canada’s liberal euthanasia laws have made the practice so commonplace that a Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) veteran has said she knows and has “proof” that no less than 20 of her colleagues were offered unsolicited state-sponsored euthanasia.

Kelsi Sheren, who is a CAF veteran, recently told MPs in the House of Commons veterans affairs committee that “over 20 veterans have confirmed being offered MAiD [Medical Assistance in Dying].”

“I have the proof, and I have proof of more,” Sheren told the committee during an October 28 meeting.

Conservative MP Blake Richards asked Sheren if she was willing to provide them with evidence to affirm her allegations.

Sheren noted how the 20 veterans have given written testimonies, or actual audio recordings, of when they were offered what in Canada is known as Medical Assistance in Dying.

“We also have other individuals who are too afraid to come forward because Veterans Affairs has threatened their benefits,” she told MPs, adding that some other veterans were even offered non-disclosure agreements along with “payouts if they were to take it.”

Veterans Affairs Canada has told the media its “employees have no role or mandate to recommend or raise (MAiD). ”

Police have issued an arrest warrant for 16-year-old Toronto resident Jayshaun Williams, who is also wanted for first-degree murder in connection with Farooqi’s death. The police force said it received judicial consent to disclose Williams’s name to the public as the investigation to locate him continues.

An in-depth examination of 20 Canadian metropolitan areas reveals a nationwide decline in public safety and significant growth in violent crime, according to the Urban Violent Crime Report, Volume 2, study from the Macdonald–Laurier Institute released Nov. 12.

“Violent crime in Canada’s cities has not only risen – it has become a growing threat affecting urban communities across the country,” study authors Dave Snow and Richard Audas wrote in a summary of their findings, adding that violent crime has surged in the past decade including in smaller cities formerly considered safe.

The study considered violent crime across 20 Canadian cities, covering more than 65 percent of the country’s total population, and looked at the overall violent crime rate, the violent crime severity index, as well as incidences of homicide, sexual assault, assault, and theft. A man is facing several charges after he drove off with an unattended Hamilton city bus, taking passengers on a “joy ride,” according to police.

A city bus driver had pulled the bus into a local bus terminal in Hamilton, Ont., at approximately 9 p.m. on Nov. 11 and exited the bus for a short break, the Hamilton Police Service said in a Nov. 12 news release.

While the driver was taking a break, a man allegedly entered the unattended bus and drove away with passengers still aboard, police say.

The man then allegedly drove the bus up the Hamilton Mountain, which is the upper part of the city, and made stops on the way, according to police, who say the man also allowed passengers to board and exit the bus freely. Continue…

Police say they have seized 46 kilograms of suspected fentanyl after a year-long drug investigation—an amount that is the largest in Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) history and which they say is enough of the drug to take the lives of a “moderately sized city.”

In addition to the seizure of fentanyl, the bust resulted in police seizing 3.4 kilograms of cocaine, 1 kilograms of suspected heroin, two loaded firearms and ammunition, 4,500 hydromorphone pills, 190 oxycodone pills, 360 morphine pills, 470 benzodiazepine tablets, 35 amphetamine tablets, as well as expensive jewelry, $170,000 in cash, more than 20 cellular devices, and assorted drug paraphernalia, according to a Nov. 12 release from the OPP.

“The prevalence of this dangerous drug [fentanyl] is a public safety issue that law enforcement takes seriously, and we will work together across jurisdictions, across provincial borders and even international borders, to dismantle and disrupt those who choose to engage in trafficking this deadly drug,” OPP Chief Superintendent Mike Stoddart said.

More than 2,700 kilograms of cannabis concealed within shipments of lumber and paper towel intended for the United Kingdom has been confiscated in Montreal, thwarting a potential smuggling operation that may support organized crime, Canadian border authorities say.

The drugs were seized in two separate shipments from Montreal’s Marine and Rail Service port in September, according to a Nov. 12 news release from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).

Border agents found 2,550 kilograms of cannabis hidden in bundles of lumber on Sept. 17. Agents identified a second shipment containing 173 kilograms of cannabis hidden inside boxes of paper towel rolls eight days later, on Sept 26.
