Viktor Orbán Resists Brussels' Blackmail by Paying 1 Million Euros Daily to Defend Hungary's Borders Against Illegal Immigration and the EU's Ideological Impositions (VIDEOS)

https://gatewayhispanic.com/2025/11/viktor-orban-resists-brussels-blackmail-paying-1-million/

Hungary continues to stand firm against what many see as a bureaucratic assault on national sovereignty: every day since June 2024, Viktor Orbán's government transfers one million euros directly into the European Union's coffers—not out of whim, but as the price for refusing to open the doors to immigrant flows that threaten the country's security and identity.

This is not a symbolic gesture; it is a calculated rebellion. “It is cheaper to pay the fine than to surrender to Brussels,” Orbán told me in one of his radio statements in February 2025, with that frankness that has made him an icon for European conservatives.

And he is right: while other countries grapple with social chaos, Hungary keeps its foreign resident rate at just 6%, an oasis of stability in a continent where Sweden and Belgium exceed 20%.

It all began in the 2015 crisis, when more than a million people crossed Europe's borders fleeing wars in Syria and other conflicts.

Instead of mandatory quotas that Orbán has always called "collective madness," Hungary erected razor-wire fences on its borders with Serbia and Croatia, and created transit zones to process asylum applications.

Harsh measures, yes, but effective: they reduced illegal entries by 95% by 2025, according to official Hungarian government data. However, the European Commission did not see it that way. Continue…

Former Special Counsel Jack Smith secretly met with then-FBI Director Christopher Wray in May 2023 a few months after he began investigating the January 6 protest.

According to Fox News, Smith’s meeting with Wray took place one day before the FBI created a “significant case notification document.”

The “significant case notification document” was given to Senators Grassley and Johnson as part of their investigation into “Arctic Frost.”

Grassley blasted the former special counsel in a statement to Fox News.

“Jack Smith claims he wants to tell his story to Congress, but when I asked him point-blank if he ever met with Garland, Monaco, or Wray as part of his investigation, he refused to answer,” Grassley said.

Jack Smith indicted President Trump shortly after his meeting with Wray.

President Trump and First Lady Trump Sign Executive Order Expanding Foster Care Resources and Promoting Faith-Based Foster Care – Ends “Ridiculous Woke Policies” that Discriminate Against Christian Foster Homes (VIDEO)

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/11/president-trump-first-lady-trump-sign-executive-order/

President Trump on Thursday signed an executive order to promote foster care investment and expand resources for children in foster homes and those aging out of the foster care system.

As part of First Lady Melania Trump’s Fostering the Future Initiative, the “Fostering the Future for American Children and Families” executive order, federal resources will be dedicated to helping foster children succeed after foster care.

“My Administration is dedicated to empowering mothers and fathers to raise their children in safe and loving homes. When crises prevent such an arrangement, our Nation’s foster care system must be ready to serve children in need,” the order reads.

The order directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) to take actions to improve and modernize State-level child-welfare data collection and publication, and to ensure that foster children are being matched with appropriate caregivers with increased monitoring of child well-being.

The order notably seeks to decrease the average time that children spend in foster care and accelerate permanent placement for children in foster homes, as well as “increase partnerships and collaboration with appropriate non-governmental entities, including faith-based organizations.”

The HHS Secretary is also directed to work with the Director of the White House Faith Office and the Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs to “take appropriate action to address State and local policies and practices that inappropriately prohibit participation in federally-funded child-welfare programs by qualified individuals or organizations based upon their sincerely-held religious beliefs or moral convictions” and to “take appropriate action to increase partnerships between agencies and faith-based organizations and houses of worship to serve families whose children have been placed in foster care or are at risk of being placed in foster care.”

Additionally, the order directs funds to be used to “promote educational success, occupational advancement, and financial literacy and self-sufficiency for individuals transitioning out of foster care.”

Clinton Body Count: Epstein Email to Disgraced Journalist Alleges Hillary Had Sexual Affair with ‘Suicided’ Vince Foster

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/11/clinton-body-count-epstein-email-disgraced-journalist-alleges/

In the latest twist from the trove of Jeffrey Epstein’s emails released by House Democrats, a 2016 message from the convicted pedophile to disgraced author Michael Wolff appears to allege that Hillary Clinton had a sexual affair with former White House Deputy Counsel Vince Foster.

The exchange began with Wolff asking Epstein for a “thumb nail” summary on “Nussbaum/foster,” prompting Epstein’s response implying an illicit affair between Hillary and Foster.

The email, dated May 25, 2016, cryptically states: “nussbaum white house counsel. . hillary doing naughties with vince.” This appears to reference Bernard Nussbaum, White House Counsel under President Bill Clinton, and Vince Foster, who died under suspicious circumstances in 1993. Continue…

Canadians Still Avoiding Travel to U.S. amid President Trump’s Tariffs

https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2025/11/13/canadians-still-avoiding-travel-to-u-s-amid-president-trumps-tariffs/

Many Canadians are still avoiding travel to the United States after President Donald Trump imposed tariffs to protect his own nation.

CTV News reported Wednesday that “the number of Canadian residents who returned by car from the U.S. fell to 1.4 million in October, a 30.5 per cent drop from the same period in 2024, according to preliminary data from Statistics Canada.”

It was the tenth straight month of lower numbers, and the numbers of returning home via air travel dropped 24 percent, the outlet noted, adding that many people are choosing to travel overseas instead of to the United States.

Canadians’ decision not to visit the United States had an effect on air and land travel, Breitbart News reported in February, and highlighted the fact that Trump in January was readying to impose fresh tariffs on U.S. trade partners. Continue…

Ex CBC producer bashes state broadcaster over 'thoughtless cheerleading'

https://www.rebelnews.com/ex_cbc_producer_bashes_state_broadcaster_over_thoughtless_cheerleading

David Cayley says the CBC adopted an ideological ‘finished view’ on issues like the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2022 Freedom Convoy.

Longtime CBC insider David Cayley says the publicly funded broadcaster is at a "watershed moment." He argues the CBC's "exhausted" previous era is ending, and the new era requires a dialogue, not a monologue.

Cayley told the National Post, "Everything ends in time." He believes the CBC, by basing its legitimacy on the audience, has become a "boutique" with only one preferred audience, preventing it from addressing the rest of the country or challenging its shared assumptions.

The interview follows CBC/Radio-Canada's October 14 five-year strategic plan to expand its audience to include youth, newcomers, and non-users, seeing this broader reach as vital for the broadcaster's continued relevance.

The 80-year-old, unafraid of being "cancelled," published The CBC: How Canada’s Public Broadcaster Lost Its Voice (and How to Get it Back) with Sutherland House this year, a historical exposé and call to action about the state of the legacy media.

He notes that Prime Minister Mark Carney often states the CBC exists "to combat misinformation," but questions what Carney means by "misinformation": is it simple fact-checking, or does it include anything one person believes to be wrong?

Cayley cites Canadian examples where the CBC created "minefields" by adopting an ideological "finished view" on issues, disregarding alternative perspectives, notably on the COVID-19 pandemic and 2022 Freedom Convoy.

“We betrayed the public,” added Marianne Klowak, a CBC reporter of over 30 years. “We broke their trust […] We were, in fact, pushing propaganda.” Continue…

Liberal MP receives fine for campaign offense that put Conservative in jail years earlier

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/liberal-mp-receives-fine-for-campaign-offense-that-put-conservative-in-jail-years-earlier/

Nova Scotia Liberal MP Jaime Battiste was fined $600 for falsifying election campaign expenses while Conservative MP Dean Del Mastro was jailed for 30 days for a similar offense years ago.

A Canadian Liberal MP was given a fine for falsifying campaign expenses even though years ago a Conservative MP who did the same thing was jailed for it.

Last week, the Commissioner of Elections for Canada issued a $600 fine to Nova Scotia Liberal MP Jaime Battiste for elections law violations.

According to the commissioner, a “mitigating factor was applied” because Battiste “cooperated with the Commissioner, including in particular by providing relevant evidence in support of the investigation.”

“The Commissioner also applied a second mitigating factor by considering the personal circumstances in Jaime Battiste’s life.” However, no details were provided.

Battiste is not a backbencher MP; he serves as the parliamentary secretary for Crown-Indigenous relations. He also ran for the leadership of the party.

His offenses are not from the most recent election but from the 2019 federal election, when he was cited for four breaches of the Elections Act.

The commissioner wrote that after an investigation it was determined the “declaration signed by Jaimie Battiste contained false and misleading information since the return inaccurately represented the expenses incurred and the monetary contributions received by the campaign.”

The commissioner noted that Battiste “signed a declaration he knew or ought reasonably to have known to be false.”

Also, evidence shows that Battiste made a $4,051 contribution to his own campaign that was deemed illegal.

Dean Del Mastro was the Conservative MP who was jailed for 30 days for a similar offense years ago. The commissioner said that because “each case is different, it wouldn’t be appropriate to draw parallels between the two sets of circumstances.” Continue…

Additionally, the company was able to land the rocket booster back on the launch pad, making an effort to match Elon Musk's SpaceX, which would make the booster cheaper, as it would be reusable. The mission, in coordination with NASA with the nickname ESCAPADE (Escape and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers), may prepare for future human exploration of Mars as the satellites study the weather conditions of the planet.

Bezos shared a video on X of the booster landing back on the ground after the rocket launch, showing how the massive booster was able to decelerate back to the Earth's surface. Musk congratulated Bezos on the accomplishment. Continue…

Canadian Crown could be demanding jail time for Freedom Truckers after judge gave them house arrest

https://thepostmillennial.com/canadian-crown-could-be-demanding-jail-time-for-freedom-truckers-after-judge-gave-them-house-arrest

The Ontario Crown Attorney is appealing the sentencing of Tamara Lich and Chris Barber. On Oct. 7, 2025 Judge Heather Perkins-McVey sentenced the Freedom Convoy organizers to over a year of house arrest and community service. In its Combined Notice of Application for Leave to Appeal and Notice of Appeal, the Crown is asking “that the sentences be increased,” apparently seeking jail terms for both Lich and Barber. The Crown had initially sought seven years imprisonment for Lich and eight years for Barber.

The document claims that “The trial judge erred in law in her interpretation and application of the elements of the offence of intimidation in section 423(1) of the Criminal Code,” and that “the trial judge erred in principle in her treatment of aggravating and mitigating factors on sentence.”

“That the application for leave to appeal against sentence be allowed, that the appeal against sentence be allowed, and that the sentences be increased.”

Lich said it shows how judicial matters surrounding the Freedom Convoy that sought to end Covid mandates in Canada remains grounded in politics and not justice.

“Well, I mean, I've seen the documents that the Crown submitted, they're basically appealing everything. They're appealing the acquittal, they're appealing the stay, and they're appealing [that] we were acquitted on the counseling and the intimidation charges that were dropped also. So it really shows you where their priorities are,” Lich told The Post Millennial.

“The Ontario Provincial Court threw out 125 cases, violent offenders, repeat offenders, violent sexual offenders. They tossed them out. Somebody makes a choice on which of these cases to pursue, and that is a choice that they're making. So instead of having or pursuing, you know, more severe penalties for people that are actually out there committing violent crimes, they're just letting them walk away, and they've chosen instead to prosecute this case. So I think that speaks volumes to the success of the Freedom Convoy personally because they feel threatened,” she continued, adding that the Crown came after her and Barber with “viciousness.” Continue…

Cowichan Tribes is calling on Ottawa to help it clean up an illegal dump site polluting a river on its land in Duncan, B.C., a request that B.C. Conservative Leader John Rustad says shows a “double standard” by the reserve’s leadership.

Cowichan Tribes say federal regulations have prevented them from bringing a stop to illegal dumping and are asking for the government’s assistance to address the issue.

Rustad took to social media to criticize the Cowichan request, saying that the band has allowed construction and industrial waste to pollute the area for more than a decade.

“The site has been used without proper authorization. The operators were warned multiple times. They ignored it. Now, after years of inaction, Cowichan leadership is asking the federal government to step in and clean it up,” Rustad posted Nov. 12 on X.

“You don’t get to claim the power of jurisdiction for over a decade, and then claim helplessness when it suits you politically,” he added.

The B.C. Ministry of the Environment says it has found roughly 290,000 cubic metres of garbage at the site that has been growing for years. Cowichan Tribes said in a Nov. 10 press release that accumulation is now excreting toxic substances into the nearby Cowichan River. Continue…

BC RCMP Help Dismantle Worldwide Cybercrime Network

B.C. RCMP said they have helped in dismantling a global cybercrime network in an international police operation that involved law enforcement from eight other countries.

As part of the operation, which started in 2022, police helped dismantle software and online infrastructure being used by the criminals to steal personal information from devices, they said.

The main suspect was arrested in Greece on Nov. 3 and is believed to have been operating software that allowed cyber criminals to gain remote control access over victims’ computers. Other aspects of the network allowed criminals to steal personal data like passwords and banking details.

RCMP said the operation, dubbed “Endgame,” is the “largest operation ever conducted to combat criminal infrastructure used for ransomware attacks worldwide.”

It said the dismantling was the third large-scale action of Operation Endgame, and police say the infrastructure was responsible for infecting hundreds of thousands of computers around the world with malware, with many victims not even aware their systems had been infected.

Officials said the dismantled malware contained “several million stolen credentials” and added that the main suspect had access to victims’ crypto wallets that were “potentially worth millions of euros.” Continue…

BC Judge Rules Removing an Unwelcome Guest Can Be Justified as Self-Defence

Self-defence rules permitting individuals to arm themselves against an intruder may also apply in circumstances where a person refuses to leave the homeowner’s property after being asked to do so, a B.C. Supreme Court judge says.

The decision published this week played a key role in the July jury acquittal of a B.C. man who was charged with manslaughter after he accidentally stabbed and killed his brother who had become an unwanted visitor in his home on the Ditidaht First Nation on Vancouver Island. Michael Edgar was found not guilty on July 24 after a 10-day trial.

He was arrested and charged in March 2022 after he “accidentally impaled” his brother Matthew Edgar with a knife during a confrontation, as he attempted to remove his brother from his house, according to court documents released on Nov. 10. Matthew died from “massive internal bleeding” despite Michael’s efforts to try to save him.

Justice Gareth Morley said he allowed the jury to consider self-defence in the case because the Supreme Court of Canada has previously determined that the Criminal Code permits individuals to “do things that would otherwise be crimes,” including using a weapon to protect their property against trespassers.

Morley’s decision dismissed the Crown’s claim that self-defence is not applicable in situations involving the use of force to eject guests who have overstayed their welcome.

He said similar incidents happen on a regular basis in Canadian bars when bouncers use minimal force to remove a “rowdy patron.” Continue…

Beijing-Born Alberta Lawyer Says ‘Wokeism’ in Canada Increasingly Resembling Communist China’s Ideological Tyranny

Alberta lawyer Roger Song moved to Canada 25 years ago from China to distance himself from a regime he says he could no longer live under.

Having witnessed the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre–when government forces opened fire on unarmed students demanding democratic reform–he says he saw Canada as a place of freedom where he and his family could start over. He was a law professor at Peking University at the time, and says he witnessed how the regime used its authority to suppress students’ “legitimate demands” for democracy.

“I couldn’t allow my children, my next generation, to be still subject to this type of dictatorship,” he told The Epoch Times in an interview. “So that’s why I decided to leave China at that moment.”

But now, he is raising the alarm over what he says is a growing ideological push in Canada that increasingly mirrors the ideological tyranny of communist China. Song filed a lawsuit against the Law Society of Alberta in 2023, over concerns about mandatory cultural training for lawyers imposed by the society–a move he says is similar to what he saw growing up in China.

“Canada is now moving toward the place where I escaped from,” he said. Continue…

Chinese Agents Trying to Recruit Canadians, Spy Chief Warns in First Annual Address

The head of Canada’s spy agency says Chinese agents have been attempting to recruit Canadians with access to government and military information to work for Beijing.

“Chinese spies have tried to recruit Canadians with access to government plans, intentions, information, and military expertise, through social media and online job platforms,” Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) Director Dan Rogers said in a speech in Ottawa on Nov. 13.

Rogers said in his first annual address that CSIS and its intelligence partners have “found ways to identify and counter these efforts” from China over the last year. The director said the agency has also been working to counter espionage efforts from Russia, including by identifying Russian intelligence officers and denying their travel to Canada.

Governments are still being targeted by foreign spies for military and economic secrets, Rogers said, but noted that corporations are increasingly being put in states’ crosshairs. Rogers cited an incident during which an illicit Russian procurement network sought to illegally acquire Canadian technologies. CSIS took action to prevent these Canadian companies from approving the shipments, he said.

Rogers said foreign states have engaged in transnational repression in Canada targeting political activists and journalists—which has included tactics such as misinformation, extortion, intimidation of loved ones, and “threats to safety and life.” He said while China and India have engaged in these tactics, CSIS has had to “reprioritize our operations” over the last year to counter Iran.

“In more than one case, this involved detecting, investigating, and disrupting potentially lethal threats against individuals in Canada,” he said. Continue…

Multi-Billion Dollar Climate Program Became a ‘Tick Box Exercise’: Internal Report

https://www.theepochtimes.com/world/multi-billion-dollar-climate-program-became-a-tick-box-exercise-new-internal-report-5944297?ea_src=ca-frontpage&ea_med=medium-0

Government report flags oversight gaps and unclear benchmarks.

A multi-billion-dollar Trudeau-era funding program for developing nations to address climate issues became a “’tick box' exercise” with unclear benchmarks, according to a recently released internal report from Global Affairs Canada (GAC).

The internal report looked at the efficacy of Canada’s climate finance programming between 2010 and 2024, finding that while Canada sent $6.2 billion abroad as part of a $9.15 billion commitment for climate initiatives in developing countries, there were major gaps in oversight and program outcome targets.

The finance program expanded significantly under former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who unsuccessfully attempted to gain Canada a seat on the U.N. Security Council in 2020.

The department’s internal report, dated June 2025, quotes departmental staff who felt the distribution of funds lacked proper attention and required too much money to be handed out too quickly. Continue…

Hordes of illicit drugs seized at Cobourg’s homeless shelter

https://www.rebelnews.com/hordes_of_illicit_drugs_seized_at_cobourg_s_homeless_shelter

A major drug bust at Cobourg’s 310 Division Street shelter and a nearby residence once again confirms what residents have been warning for years: neighbourhood safety around the shelter is collapsing.
