This is so incredibly stupid, unless it's not stupid. Rosenstein will be Manafort's first witness, according to (unreliable) Judge Napolitano. What a stupid case to bring!
Or maybe … it's the same thing we suspect with Flynn. We want Flynn, and maybe also Rosenstein, to be forced to testify under oath. This would allow them to break certain confidentiality to reveal information we want revealed.
Flynn has a more obvious reason to do it because he would be defending himself and could not be forced to maintain confidentiality. Can the same idea apply to Rosenstein too?
Or am I just imagining things and Rosenstein is as much of a jerk as he seems?
