Actress Debra Messing Shares Viral Meme Calling Zohran Mamdani a ‘Communist Jihadist’

Will & Grace star Debra Messing shared a viral meme on Election Day Tuesday, to her 1.4 million Instagram followers, calling newly elected New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani an “actual Communist Jihadist.”
The meme gained viral steam on social media after being promoted by The Persian Jewess Instagram account showed a fake voter ballot listing two candidates as “A Democrat. Just a Democrat” and the other as “An actual communist jihadist. A literal Karl Marx-quoting, America-hating jihadist.”
Messing, who has been a loud supporter of Israel and who has shown her support for Andrew Cuomo’s mayoral campaign, shared the meme with her followers on Tuesday. The left-wing actress received a fair bit of backlash online for sharing the post.
Messing, who backed Joe Biden in 2020, spent the weeks leading up to the election speaking out against Mamdani, endorsing Cuomo as a candidate with “decades of experience” to lead a New York City she says “doesn’t feel safe right now.”
“I understand the passion behind Mamdani. He’s young and enthusiastic but he has never had a job, he’s 33 years old, and New York City is the financial center of our country,” Messing said. “And I don’t think he has the experience for the job.”
Rarely does the political messaging from liberal Hollywood stars like Debra Messing align with that of Republican Congressional leadership, until Mamdani.
“Commie Mamdani’s win in New York City marks the death of the Democrat party as we once knew it,” House Majority Whip Tom Emmer told Breitbart News on Tuesday tonight. “His communist agenda will run America’s largest city straight into the ground, while Democrats in Congress sit idly by because they either agree or are too terrified of their virulent base to speak up. The election results in NYC prove the trend we’ve all been witnessing: pro-terrorist, Marxist radicals are now the Left’s mainstream.”
Democrat Socialist Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani handily won the New York City mayoral race on Tuesday, defeating former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa.

Rep. Brandon Gill Moves to Impeach Judge James Boasberg for Aiding Jack Smith’s Partisan Lawfare

Rep.Brandon Gill (R-TX) filed impeachment articles against U.S. District Judge James Boasbergon Tuesday over his role in the “Arctic Frost” probe.
On Tuesday, Rep. Gill formally introduced impeachment articles against JudgeBoasberg, who signed off on subpoenas and other measures in former special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation, according to a report by Fox News.
“Chief Judge Boasberg has compromised the impartiality of the judiciary and created a constitutional crisis,” Gill told the outlet. “He is shamelessly weaponizing his power against his political opponents, including Republican members of Congress who are faithfully serving the American people within their jurisdiction.”
“Judge Boasberg was an accomplice in the egregious Arctic Frost scandalwhere he equipped the Biden DOJ to spy on Republican senators.” The congressman added, “His lack of integrity makes him clearly unfit for the gavel. I am proud to once again introduce articles of impeachment against Judge Boasberg to hold him accountable for his high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Gill’s resolution reportedly accuses Boasberg of one count of abuse of power.
The text of the impeachment resolution obtained by Fox News reads, “Ignoring his responsibility to wield the power of his office in a constitutional manner, Chief Judge Boasberg granted Special Counsel John L. Smith authorization to issue frivolous nondisclosure orders in furtherance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation project codenamed ARCTIC FROST.”
“These nondisclosure orders covered Members of Congress who were acting in accord with their legislative duties and privileges guaranteed by Article 1, Section 6, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution,” the text adds.
Last month, redacted Arctic Frost documents, which included subpoenas of phone records for ten senators and one House lawmaker, were made public by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA).
The documents also revealed gag orders that were sent to Verizon and AT&T, telling them not to inform lawmakers of the subpoenas. Verizon obeyed, while AT&T did not.
The subpoenas and gag orders were reportedly signed by Boasberg, who has been blasted by Republican lawmakers, including Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who said the investigation was “worse than Watergate.”
Republicans have also argued the subpoenas are potential violations of the speech or debate clause of the U.S. Constitution, which protects lawmakers from facing arrest or being questioned by authorities over the things they say or do in their legislative roles.
Courts, meanwhile, can find a loophole by disputing what qualifies as “legislative,” Fox News noted.
This is not the first time Boasberg has faced backlash over his official actions.
Earlier this year, the federal judge faced impeachment articles after he issued an order that temporarily paused President Donald Trump’s migrant deportation flights to El Salvador.

Most Ukrainians Plan to Live in Germany ‘Permanently’, Study Finds

The number of Ukrainian refugees who see Germany as a permanent home rather than temporary place of shelter continues to rise, with a study finding six-in-ten saying they see it as “permanent”.
While the notion of refuge implies at least a sense of transience, the proportion of the 1.2 million Ukrainians who see their new lives in Germany as forever is high and rising compared to earlier research in previous years.Die Welt notes a study by the Federal Institute for Population Research which finds 59 per cent of Ukrainians in Germany say they intend to stay for “several years or permanently”.
Some 49 per cent of adults said they want to stay “forever”.
The results could suggest that,compared to earlier studies, the longer Ukrainians spend in Germany the less likely they are to ever want to go home. Breitbart News reported 44 per cent of Ukrainian refugees said they wanted to stay in Germany “forever” or for a “few more years” in 2023, and that 26 per cent they wanted to stay forever back in the winter of 2022, after less than a year of war.
The new Federal Institute research states the state of Ukrainian families has a major impact on the willingness of Ukrainians to go home when the war is over. While women generally came to Germany alone in the early days of the war, in many cases they have since been joined by their partners and in those cases, where the family is together in Germany, they are most likely to want to not return to Ukraine. (Ukraine is a shithole and hell hole, who would want to go back. The government bilks all the money out of there)
Yet many of those Ukrainian women who left their men behind, in many cases to fight, as they fled west from 2022 have since broken up with their partners while living away from them. The German statistics state a third of long-distance relationships between people in Germany and Ukraine have ended since the war began, and those women who had partners in Ukraine but now don’t are among those most likely to want to stay in Germany.
Perhaps another anchor factor of Ukrainians starting new lives in Germany is the rate of refugees in work, which has increased from 18 per cent of Ukrainian arrivals in 2022 to half today. While the Ukrainian government may look upon these developments with dismay — the return of its own young women post-war being likely essential to stave off economic and demographic collapse —the German statistical report articulated approval, calling Ukrainian refugees “an important resource for the German labor market.”

Report: Half of Migrant Households Get Welfare Via US-Born Children

According to a report, nearly half of non-citizens’ homes with children rely on some form of welfare — especially Food Stamps and WIC — despite claims by liberals that migrants don’t use government assistance programs.
The report by the Center for Immigration Studies shows that 47 percent of non-citizen homes with children under six years of age are on Food Stamps and WIC assistance programs.
The report also notes that many migrant households are headed by parents with little education and low income, so any suspension of WIC and Food Stamps can be a major burden for these homes.
According to the report, “Non-citizen households account for nearly one in five of all households with young children receiving WIC or SNAP. The vast majority (96 percent) of young children in these households are U.S.-born.”
The study further showed that about half the non-citizens are illegal migrants, but those receiving the benefits do qualify in one way or another, the report says, adding that the researchers are not alleging that the benefits are being awarded fraudulently.
The conclusion is, “Of all immigrant-headed households (naturalized citizens and non-citizens) with young children, 43 percent are dependent on at least one of these programs.”
The study notes that any pause in WIC or Food Stamps will hit these immigrant communities hard.
Still, the finding goes against Democrat claims that illegals and migrants don’t use welfare programs.
The Trump administration has moved to make sure that illegal migrants are not receiving SNAP and WIC benefits, to further limit the number of migrants enrolled in the welfare programs.
On Sunday, Agriculture SecretaryBrooke Rollins reported about steps taken toward this goal, writing, “We told every state to send us their SNAP data so we could make sure illegal immigrants aren’t getting benefits meant for American families. 29 states stepped up. 21 blue states refused — and two SUED US FOR ASKING!”

President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies are helping to shrink the large migrant enclaves in Chicago.
One indication is that the economy catering to migrants is facing strain in Chicago as President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies continue.
Of course, before Trump even came to office for his second term, progressive Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson had already wrecked havoc on the city’s jobs makers by running one of the most anti-business administrations in Chicago history.With skyrocketing taxes and plans for even more, Chicago had seen a large number of businesses close down well before the president’s immigration crackdown.
In August, it was reported that the Windy City has lost 17 percent of its business sector over the last year, and the city is now at a ten-year low in the number of businesses operating there.
While the post COVID atmosphere has been hard enough on the city’s businesses — especially restaurants — President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement policies are also putting a strain on those businesses that cater to the migrant community in the neighborhoods that sit in the path of Trump’s “Operation Midway Blitz” law enforcement campaign.
Restaurants, in particular, in neighborhoods such as Chicago’s Little Village, Pilsen, andothers are finding themselves on the verge of financial collapse as diners avoid going out for fear of getting crosswise with federal law enforcement, the Chicago Tribune reports.
“We’ve become unprofitable — we’re running at a loss,” said Marcos Carbajal, owner of the restaurant named Carnitas Uruapan. “I’m using my other two (locations) to keep people employed here and running at a loss so that I can try to get to the other side and just keep the doors open and keep people here. If I didn’t have three locations, this would have been over. I would just have to shut down.”
“We are dying a slow death,” Carbajal added.
The restaurateur also noted that when protesters confront ICE officers, that action ends up keeping people from venturing out for days afterward. Businessman Esam Hani, who owns restaurants in Chicago and Milwaukee, said that another problem is that landlords are no longer cutting business a break like they did in 2020 as COVID hit.
“I have to dip into my personal savings to keep the doors open, but for how long can I do that?” Hani said. “The landlords are not making concessions for us like they did in COVID. We’re still making the monthly rents, paying our employees, paying gas and electric … all that kind of stuff. Those costs are still there.”
Hani told the Tribune that he has experienced about a 40 percent loss in sales, and thanks to Mayor Johnson, his expenses are “through the roof.”
He added that things are bad and if it continues into the next few months, “you’ll see a lot of small businesses start closing because they can’t pay their staff or they can’t pay their rent. That’s just how it is in our industry.”
The situation shows how some of Chicago’s neighborhoods have built their economies on migrants, both legal and illegal, and how having those migrants fleeing the area has undermined that economic activity.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune told reporters he informed President Trump, “The votes aren’t there” to kill the filibuster. Ergo, the govt shutdown will continue.
The issue is somewhat frustrating for those who have followed DC events closely. The Democrats hated the Big Beautiful Bill budget and spending legislation, so the Republicans had to suspend the filibuster to pass it. However, the Democrats are blocking the BBB budget and spending legislation by shutting down government, and the Republicans will not suspend the filibuster to open it.

Democrats stay on task, power. Republicans are flexible, money.
