Drone, IEDs and explosives among items seized in massive counter-terrorism raid as seven people arrested
November 5, 2025 - 4:45PM
Explosive devices and a drone are among a number of shocking items seized by officers in a major counter-terrorism probe.
Seven people, including four men and three women, have been charged with drug, weapons and explosives offences as part of a Queensland Police Service Counter-Terrorism Investigation Group operation.
Operation Whiskey Blackheart, launched in October last year, had allegedly uncovered 20 kilograms of commercial explosives, illegal firearms, and multiple improvised explosive devices (IED’s), including a drone, police have confirmed.
The seven people arrested in the probe were before the courts. Five of the alleged offenders faced charges of unlawfully trafficking explosive weapons.
The Townsville Bulletin understood that the discovery of the operational drone IED was the first such find in the country.
Queensland Police Service Assistant Commissioner Charysse Pond outlined that that an extensive investigation into illegal firearms and explosives trafficking had taken place.
“These arrests demonstrate the Queensland Police Service’s state-wide commitment to keeping the community safe and confidence that law enforcement is pursuing illegal activity,” the Assistant Commissioner said.
“The work undertaken is a credit to the Counter Terrorism Investigation Group.
“The QPS is working with our partner agencies in relation to this evolving technology and working together to keep our community safe.”
Police also released dramatic vision of search warrants that had taken place leading to the alleged recovery of some of the illegal items and multiple arrests.
It comes as officers also charged five people with 16 drug and firearm offences as part of a response to crime in the states’ Far North.
Australian Border Force personnel had assisted in search warrants executed in Ravenshoe and Speewah on October 15, police said in a statement on Wednesday.
Flick knives, a taser, cannabis, laser pointer, capsicum spray and unlawful firearms and firearm parts were among items allegedly seized.
Those arrested in the probe included two 19-year-old males and three men aged 29, 42, 49.

Vilnius airport closed again due to unidentified drone
Wed, November 05, 2025 - 15:45
Vilnius Airport was closed again for several hours after an unknown drone was spotted on its territory, LRТ reports.
Restrictions on airspace for aircraft and other airborne vehicles above the airport were imposed at approximately 9:50 a.m.
"According to preliminary data, the decision to impose restrictions was made due to a drone spotted on the territory of Vilnius Airport," says Tadas Vasiliauskas, a representative of Lithuanian Airports.
He says the airspace reopened at around 10:18 a.m. and all operations at the airport are now running as normal. He also noted that the impact on flights was minimal.
"This situation could have affected only two flights," Vasiliauskas adds.
According to Public Security Service representative Ingrida Stragenė, the drone was spotted near Vilnius Airport.
"It was a civilian drone. It stayed in the air, taking off and landing, for less than a minute," Stragenė says.
She also notes that the service's employees immediately stepped up security at Vilnius Airport and its surroundings. However, the drone and its operator have not yet been found.
Background
At the end of October, balloons carrying contraband were spotted several times in Lithuania, flying in from Belarus. Unknown drones were also spotted over local airports.
Due to these incidents, Lithuanian airports temporarily suspended operations four times, with dozens of flights delayed or redirected, causing inconvenience to thousands of passengers.
The European Union is ready to impose new sanctions against Belarus if Minsk does not stop provocations on the territory of member states.
This refers, in particular, to incidents involving balloons detected in Lithuania.

Drone sightings force fresh flight cancellations at Belgium’s main airport
Updated 4:10 AM PST, November 5, 2025
Dozens of flights at Belgium’s main international airport were canceled on Wednesday after drone sightings overnight forced it to close temporarily, prompting Prime Minister Bart De Wever to convene a meeting with senior ministers to discuss safety concerns.
It was the first time that the airport in Brussels has been shut down by drones. It comes after a series of unidentified drone flights over the weekend near a military base where U.S. nuclear weapons are stored.
Brussels Airport said that 54 flights were canceled as a result of the Tuesday evening shutdown “for safety reasons” and apologized, saying that “the safety of our passengers and staff remains our top priority.”
The airport operator said that about 400-500 travelers spent the night there after 41 flights were canceled and 24 diverted elsewhere, and that it had set up beds and distributed water and snacks to keep people comfortable.
De Wever convened a meeting of Belgium’s National Security Council, which includes the country’s defense, interior, justice and foreign ministers, for Thursday morning.
In a post on social media, Interior Minister Bernard Quintin said that “the repetition of incidents linked to drones directly affects the security of our country. … We must take action in a calm, serious and coordinated manner.”
The operators of the drones in recent days have not been identified, but Defense Minister Theo Francken insisted that “this is not the work of amateurs,” without elaborating.
Earlier this week, Francken said that flights near the Kleine-Brogel air base on Saturday and Sunday nights appeared to be “a spying operation” aimed at “destabilizing” people.
He said that drones had been flown near the base in “two phases,” one involving small drones that tested the radio frequencies being used by Belgian security services to jam such flights; the second with bigger drones that operated on a different frequency to avoid the jammers.
Last month, several drones were spotted above another Belgian military base near the German border.
The operators were not identified. In recent months, drone incidents across Europe have forced airports to shut down for a time.
A late evening drone sighting at Berlin’s Brandenburg airport on Friday suspended flights for nearly two hours. It was not clear who was responsible.
Belgium hosts the headquarters of NATO and the European Union, as well as Europe’s biggest financial clearinghouse holding tens of billions of euros in frozen Russian assets.
Many EU countries want to use those assets as collateral to provide loans to Ukraine, but Belgium has so far resisted. De Wever warned EU leaders last month that Russia might retaliate if the money is confiscated.

Trump Could Expose Alien/UFO Programs With One Signature
November 5, 2025
A government astrophysicist with top secret clearances has publicly stated he is ready to reveal decades of classified information about alien crash retrievals and reverse engineering programs, with only one obstacle standing in his way: a presidential signature.
Dr. Eric Davis, who worked extensively on classified government UFO programs funded by the Defense Intelligence Agency, made this remarkable offer during an interview with filmmaker James Fox on NewsNation’s Reality Check.
According to Davis, if President Trump issues an executive order absolving him of his TSSCI NDAs, or Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information non-disclosure agreements, he would testify before Congress about everything he learned from his investigations into legacy UAP crash retrieval and hardware reverse engineering programs dealing with non-human intelligence.
Davis is not alone in his willingness to break decades of silence.
According to James Fox, who has been directly asking witnesses with high-level clearances whether they would testify under oath to a bipartisan group of lawmakers if given immunity, the answer keeps coming back “yes”.
These are not anonymous sources making vague claims, but named government scientists and military personnel stating on camera that they possess classified evidence about alien technology and non-human intelligence programs.
Congress has attempted to pass UAP disclosure legislation multiple times, with the most recent version introduced by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senator Mike Rounds, but that legislation was stripped from the National Defense Authorization Act after intense lobbying from defense contractors and intelligence agencies, according to the NewsNation report.

Dr. James Lacatski, who designed and managed AATIP, the Pentagon’s 22 million dollar Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program that ran from 2007 to 2012, has also gone on record.
In an interview with investigative journalist George Knapp at 8 News Now in Las Vegas, Lacatski confirmed that the government has recovered craft with no wings, no engine, and no fuel tank.
When pressed by Knapp on how he knows they are craft, Lacatski stated simply that you can see them fly, adding that the late Senator Harry Reid asked the same question.
According to Knapp’s reporting, the program produced 115 thick technical documents and created what Lacatski described as the world’s largest UAP database, yet fourteen years after AATIP officially ended, the Defense Intelligence Agency has yet to release any of the original material to the public.
The timing of these revelations coincides with a disturbing pattern of surveillance over NATO military installations across Europe. Brussels Airport was closed after reported drone sightings, with Belgium Air Traffic Control confirming the shutdown.
Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken stated publicly that these are not amateur operations, with the drones flying in coordinated formations during the darkest hours of the night and targeting specific military infrastructure with precision.
Belgian security services believe the evidence points toward a state actor, most likely Russia, conducting intelligence gathering operations.
According to news reports, authorities deployed helicopters and police vehicles in pursuit of drones over a Belgian military airbase, but the drones could not be captured and drone jammers also failed to intercept them.
Despite multiple congressional hearings featuring credible witnesses like former intelligence officer David Grusch, who testified under oath that the US government possesses intact and partially intact craft of non-human origin, nothing has been officially released to the public due to institutional resistance from defense contractors, intelligence agencies, and military officials.
President Trump has the constitutional authority as commander in chief to declassify information and void non-disclosure agreements with a simple executive order.
Vice President JD Vance recently indicated in an interview with Pod Force One that the administration has been focused on other priorities but remains interested in the UAP issue.
According to James Fox, he is currently working with individuals in government to facilitate testimony from witnesses, though he could not provide specifics. The decision on whether to release these witnesses from their security oaths now rests with President Trump.

He Ran The Pentagon’s Secret UFO Program - And Says We’ve Been Played : Dr. James Lacatski (PART 1)
November 5, 2025
In this explosive PART ONE, Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp sit down with Dr. James Lacatski - former DIA intelligence officer and shadowy architect behind the Pentagon's classified Advanced Aerospace Weapons System Applications Program (AAWSAP) and Kona Blue UFO programs - for a no-holds-barred "testimony" he'd deliver straight to Congress.
For the first time since his explosive revelations two years ago, Lacatski unleashes revelations that shatter the official narrative: deliberate disinformation campaigns by AARO, the shocking truth behind Kona Blue's "cancellation" (spoiler: it's alive in ways you won't believe), and his authorized bombshell on a recovered UFO craft where U.S. teams breached the hull to uncover propulsion mysteries that defy earthly physics.
From Skinwalker Ranch's rogue paranormal hunts to Senator Reid's secret election fears stalling funding, Lacatski exposes counterintelligence ops targeting whistleblowers, the futility of congressional hearings, and why his 1,200 pages of declassified docs reveal more than any Hill spectacle ever could.
Is AARO a disclosure facade or a full-spectrum psyop? Why won't they admit the craft in our possession? And what really powers these tic-tac enigmas?
This is the inside story from the man who managed the Pentagon’s most secretive UFO investigation - and whose statements have become some of the most consequential admissions in UFO history. This is controlled UFO chaos.

Scientist reveals details of top-secret UFO research in Las Vegas
Updated: Nov 4, 2025 / 06:43 PM PST
The largest UFO investigation ever funded by the U.S. Government was carried out in total secrecy right here in Las Vegas, and while most of the reports produced by the program are still classified, the scientist who managed to program is spilling some of what he knows.
Las Vegas is now known for hosting one of the premier racing events in the world. However, the most important race on the planet was headquartered right here.
It was a race to see which nation would be first to crack the code and replicate the propulsion system of mysterious machines seen for decades in our skies and oceans. The race is real, and it is still underway.
Dr. James Lacatski said we are “absolutely” in a race for the tech.
Lacatski worked for the D.I.A.—the Defense Intelligence Agency. He said the goal of the program was to figure out UFO technology and to one day build our own.
He spoke exclusively with 8 News Now Chief Investigator George Knapp. For more than 80 years, the U.S. Government has told the public not to fret about UFO intrusions because nearly all of them are explainable.
Behind the scenes, though, intelligence agencies and the Pentagon acknowledge that there is a deadly-serious contest to figure out UFO technology before Russia or China do.
Nevada Senator Harry Reid told us before his death that the race is real and that we’d better win it, which is why he was the primary sponsor of a $22 million secret investigation.
“It is not our belief or conjecture or the opinions of the authors,” Lacatski said. “It’s facts from the program. These are from official sources, from what the public has paid for.”
Lacatski spent most of his career with the D.I.A. analyzing the technology of America’s adversaries, weapons that could potentially wipe out the world. He was—and is—a keeper of secrets and regarded his oath and security clearance as gospel.
But these days, he is cautiously and meticulously sharing what he can about AAWSAP, the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program. It’s the largest acknowledged UFO investigation ever funded by the U.S. Government.
Lacatski designed and managed AAWSAP, inspired by a book he read about a UFO hotspot in a remote corner of Utah, a place now known as Skinwalker Ranch.
Credible witnesses reported seeing mysterious, high-tech objects emerge from holes in the sky. Lacatski believed this was a potential threat and also an opportunity.
“We wanted to learn what can be weaponized there, and that basically was our job at D.I.A.,” Lacatski said.
Lacatski visited the ranch, escorted by its owner, Las Vegas tycoon Robert Bigelow, and had his own bizarre experience.
He then convinced D.I.A. leadership that an investigation was warranted. Senate majority leader Harry Reid and two of his Senate colleagues agreed, and AAWSAP was born.
The program was housed within a subsidiary of Bigelow Aerospace and had a team of fifty full-time investigators. It conducted an unprecedented investigation in near-total secrecy.
Lacatski and his team produced an astounding amount of material, including 115 thick documents and the world’s largest UFO data warehouse.

Fourteen years after AAWSAP ended, the D.I.A. has yet to release any of the original material. Lacatski is doing it himself.
His latest book, “Inside the U.S. Government Covert UFO Program: New Insights,” makes the case that UFOs and seemingly paranormal phenomena related to UFO incidents are generated by someone or something that is not us.
“Can we say they are human? I don’t think you can, no,” Lacatski said. “We can be pretty well sure we’re not dealing with humans. How can we ever know the ultimate answer?”
The material in the book is from government files, compiled by government personnel in a government-funded program. It may not count as official disclosure, but it is in the same ballpark.
“New Insights” includes remarkable UFO incidents, cases in which airline pilots were followed by huge unknown craft which changed shapes while in the air, eyewitnesses who experienced inexplicable physiological changes after close encounters, others who suffered major medical consequences, outbreaks of bizarre paranormal phenomena, and entities in the homes of dozens of people who had earlier seen orbs, triangles, or other weird craft.
Newly unveiled events from in and around the Utah ranch are the stuff of nightmares. Including creature sightings, macabre animal mutilations, and even an incident from the oddities known as the men in black.
Lacatski flat-out admits the government has in its possession at least one recovered craft of unknown origin, a flying machine with no wings, no engine, no fuel, and no fuel tanks.
“How do you know it is a craft if it has no fuel, no fuel tank?” Knapp asked Lacatski. “Did you see it fly? Are you convinced it was some sort of craft or machine?”
“Yes,” Lacatski responded. “And by the way, Senator Reid asked that same question.”
Like the late senator, Lacatski has no doubt our adversaries have their own programs to reverse engineer UFO tech.
The AAWSAP program completed almost everything it was designed to do in its 27-month existence. After that, the funding was suddenly paused.
Fingers have pointed at multiple possible culprits, but Lacatski now reveals the person responsible was Reid himself.
The senator confided to Lacatski that there was a spy in his Washington office who was leaking information to help the candidacy of Reid’s 2010 opponent, Sharron Angle. Reid was widely expected to lose that race.
“He’d worried that if the story gets out, it affects his race and he’d no longer be a US Senator,” Lacatski said.
Reid surprisingly won that race in a cake walk, but afterward, he was no longer the majority leader in the Senate.
Lacatski said Reid kept his word and secured funding for AAWSAP to continue in some form. We will explore that part of the story in a future report.
As a matter of disclosure, Knapp was the only journalist allowed to know about AAWSAP while it was underway, and later was one of the co-authors on two earlier books by Lacatski and his colleague Colm Kelleher, but he had no hand in the new book.
