Engines don't fall off whole
The dc10 had that issue in Chicago on a pax plane and it was bad back in the 80s
The engine cowling departed
But the engine stayed put
As far as anon knows
Only the dc10 and variants have ditched the engine whole
So did ST Aero examine when they had it at the shop
