Yep, I have built software for this exact reason that organizes to do stuff like this as a side affect. The voting application was a side affect also and wasn't built specifically for that, but it is so powerful that it can create a recallable ballot as a receipt which took about 5 minutes of extra programming. There is no logic for the white hats not giving me support.
