Re-watched it last night. The plot is that the certain members of US govt were covertly involved with Columbian drug smuggling into the USA, all the way up to the president; a good Samaritan Govt employee/whistleblower (Harrison Ford) stumbled across the info and brought it to light. Whereupon his life was immediately in danger. Our own govt killed US soldiers to save face when this happened. Ford barely survives with his life, and is brought before the president.
