I was raised in a family who regularly killed and processed our own meat - both wild and domestic. Beef, pork, chicken, rabbit, deer, squirrel, fish, etc. Also, my family grew a lot of our own fruits and vegetables and also harvested wild fruits and vegetables. It is literally almost a full time job. Most folks nowadays dont have time to self-sustain.
