My amazingly wonderful daughter went through a "I'm smarter than dad" phase starting at 13 up until 21.
She is now supporting herself and running into the real world shit that I lectured her about time after time after time when she was growing up.
It was very hard to see her discount her own father while she "knew better".
But, it's all worth it when I hear her talk like Reagan now that she's out in the real world.
Don't give up on your kids, anon. They hear you and will remember later … even if it doesn't seem like it now.
God makes it all work out if you just persevere.
