Came across something. Feeling patriotic, and started rewatching John Adams tonight.

Part 3 has an interesting line at 0:25:24.

Benjamin Franklin (Tom Wilkinson) says to John Adams (Paul Giamatti):

"We are all actors here, Mr. Adams, and so far my performance has been well received."

Perhaps ALL politicians, and contractors, and agencies are "actors?" Just a thought.
