I remember using my Teletype model 15 with a cabinet for the encoder decoder and an oscilloscope to tune Mark/Space at 60 Words Per Minute.
Used to manually make nude pictures out of typewriter characters. Took a lot of time. Loved the smell of oil and that beautiful yellow paper rolls!
My old key which I still use occasionally and my new iambic key. The old one is over 100 years old and even the sounder still works.
Started at 5WPM then 13WPM and finally 20 WPM. Now the newfags don't even need to know code to be a ham anymore.
