CIA Met With Ralph Baric In 2015 To Discuss "Coronavirus Evolution And Possible Human Adaptation": Emails

New documents released Oct. 30 by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) offer a potential smoking gun regarding American complicity in the creation of COVID-19.

As the Daily Caller's Emily Kopp writes:

New documents show that intelligence risked implicating ODNI’s own bioengineering advisor — University of North Carolina professor Ralph Baric.

Baric, who engineered novel coronaviruses with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), advised ODNI four times a year on biological threats, according to documents released Oct. 30 by Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.

The professor’s ties to American intelligence may run even deeper, the documents reveal, as ODNI facilitated a meeting between the CIA and Baric about a project on coronaviruses in September 2015.

The email exchange with the subject line “Request for Your Expertise” shows an unnamed government official with a CIA-affiliated email address pitching a “possible project” to Baric relating to “[c]oronavirus evolution and possible natural human adaptation.”

The new documents add to the growing body of evidence that our own intelligence agencies knew more about the threat posed by manipulating bat COVID in a lab than they told the public.

Sen. Paul is seeking more documents from ODNI regarding potential ties between US intelligence and the Wuhan lab as part of an ongoing investigation, and will hold public hearings in the coming months.

Of note, current DNI Tulsi Gabbard disbanded the ODNI biological threats office earlier this year following questions by the Caller regarding its suppression of COVID origins intel in August.

In January of 2020, Baric gave a presentation to the ODNI in which he advised US intelligence that COVID-19 may have emerged from a lab, and that the Wuhan Institute of Virology had sequenced thousands of SARS-like coronaviruses - including strains that could cause an epidemic.

Illinois Sen Duckworth staffer accused of posing as an attorney to facilitate release of criminal illegal immigrant in ICE custody

Staffer Edward York has been accused of falsifying an official DHS form to gain access to and facilitate the release of detained illegal immigrant Jose Ismael Ayuzo-Sandoval, 40, of Mexico.

It has been revealed that a staff member of US Senator Tammy Duckworth's office has been accused of falsely claiming to be an attorney to facilitate the release of a detained illegal migrant with a criminal record, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Todd Lyons, Director of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), sent a letter on Wednesday to Illinois Sen. Duckworth, a Democrat, stating that her staffer, Edward York, allegedly falsified an official DHS form to gain access to and facilitate the release of detained illegal immigrant Jose Ismael Ayuzo-Sandoval, 40, of Mexico. Ayuzo-Sandoval has a DUI conviction and four previous deportations, Fox News reported.

"At approximately 1:29 pm, an individual identified as Edward York, who, according to publicly available information, is employed as a Constituent Outreach Coordinator for your Senate office, entered the field office lobby, and in discussion with a federal officer, claimed to be Mr. Ayuzo's attorney. Mr. York demanded to speak with his 'client,'" Lyons' letter states. "This staff member allegedly did so to gain access to the detainee and seek his release from custody, and he accomplished it by falsifying an official Department of Homeland Security (DHS) form."

DHS released surveillance video featuring York in the alleged act.

Australia records highest net migrant arrivals ever, experts warn of unsustainable growth

Migration to Australia has reached unprecedented levels, with more than 415,000 permanent and long-term arrivals in the first nine months of 2025 alone.

Australia is seeing record-breaking levels of permanent and long-term migrant arrivals, with numbers in 2025 already surpassing previous highs, the Institute of Public Affairs says.

Deputy executive director of the IPA Daniel Wild says the figures show Australia is experiencing an unprecedented migration surge.

“The first three quarters of 2025 saw the highest number of net permanent and long-term arrivals than any other year on record,” Mr Wild said.

Analysis of the Australian Bureau of Statistics updated overseas arrivals and departures data, covering the year to September 2025, shows 415,760 net permanent and long-term arrivals from 1 January to 30 September, a 6 per cent increase on the previous record set in 2024.

A total of 468,390 net permanent and long-term arrivals were recorded in the 12 months to 30 September 2025, the highest 12-month total on record, 4 per cent above 2024.

Meanwhile, 35,890 net arrivals in September 2025 alone marked the second-highest September on record, behind September 2023.

“Elevated net permanent and long-term arrival numbers have now become a new norm, with the indicator of migration patterns showing the federal government’s ‘Big Australia’ policy is well and truly in full flight,” Mr Wild said.

New York churches vandalized with ‘anti-Christian’ graffiti by suspect carrying LGBT flag

Two Protestant churches and a Catholic church were damaged, with graffiti accusing them of being 'anti-gay' cults.

An unidentified vandal carrying a rainbow LGBTQ “Pride” flag defaced at least three churches with “anti-Christian” graffiti in Queens, New York.

The suspect, masked with a rainbow cloth, first graffitied Refuge Church of Christ with the words “anti-gay cult” at 1:40 a.m., according to police, the New York Post reported.

The vandal scrawled the same message onto the nearby City of Oasis Church of Deliverance, about 100 feet away.

At about 2 a.m., the criminal struck St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church at 19-20 New Haven Ave. He attacked this Catholic church more thoroughly, spray-painting “Welcome Cult Members” and “cult” onto the church walls and sidewalks, and also painting over the faces of two religious statues there, said police.

The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the vandalism as “multiple acts of criminal mischief as a hate crime.”

Attacks on Christian churches, and especially Catholic churches, have exploded in recent years in the U.S., although this has largely been connected with the U.S. Supreme Court’s draft Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, since the leak of the decision triggered a spike in such attacks.

A Family Research Council (FRC) report from August identified 1,384 acts of hostility against Christian churches committed between January 2018 and December 2024. The evangelical group found that 50 crimes were committed in 2018, 83 in 2019, 55 in 2020 and 98 in 2021. However, in 2022, when Dobbs was leaked, the numbers of attacks more than doubled, hitting 198.

These hostile aggressions more than doubled again in 2023, reaching 485, before leveling off in 2024 with 415. Of the 2024 number, the majority of incidents were vandalism (284). There were 55 cases of arson, 28 gun-related crimes, and 14 bomb threats.

The U.S. gathered intelligence last year of Israeli officials discussing how their soldiers had sent Palestinians into Gaza tunnels the Israelis believed were potentially lined with explosives, according to two former U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

The information was shared with the White House and analyzed by the intelligence community in the final weeks of former President Joe Biden's administration, the officials said.

Officials inside the Biden administration had long raised concerns about news reports that indicated Israeli soldiers were using Palestinians to potentially protect themselves in Gaza. Washington's collection of its own evidence on the subject has not been previously reported.

The U.S. intelligence gathered in the final months of 2024 raised questions inside the White House and the intelligence community about how widely the tactic was being used and whether Israel’s soldiers were acting on guidance issued by military leaders, the U.S. officials said.

The officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive national security information, did not provide details on whether the Palestinians referenced in the intelligence were prisoners or civilians.

Reuters could not determine whether the Biden administration discussed the intelligence with the Israeli government.

California DMV Admits to Illegally Issuing 17,000 Commercial Licenses to “Dangerous Foreign Drivers”

U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean P. Duffy announced today that the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has admitted to illegally issuing 17,000 non-domiciled Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) to dangerous foreign drivers. Thanks to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) ongoing audit, each of these licenses is being revoked.

“After weeks of claiming they did nothing wrong, Gavin Newsom and California have been caught red-handed. Now that we’ve exposed their lies, 17,000 illegally issued trucking licenses are being revoked,” said U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy.

“This is just the tip of the iceberg. My team will continue to force California to prove they have removed every illegal immigrant from behind the wheel of semitrucks and school buses.”

Notices have been issued to the 17,000 non-domiciled CDL holders that their license no longer meets federal requirements and will expire in 60 days.

FMCSA requires California to provide its full audit of all its non-domiciled CDLs so the agency can verify that every illegally issued license has been revoked and that the failures that allowed these licenses to be issued are corrected.
