the shameful problem is that the "you're looking in the wrong place" or "these could be doctored" cries are accurate.
the same thing happened when "tea leaves" or whomever tried to say that a txt file of dns queries proved that Trump was communicating with Russia.
they are plain old text dumps. there is no real chain of authentication, ok we get them from congress, from the fbi, ostensibly from an official forensics investigation of an impounded server.
but who wrote them, were they ever truly sent/received, do we have relay logs or read receipts, have the recipient accounts been supoenaed to verify, etc.
be careful with what you assume. i for one think this is damning but also par for the course. was epstein dirty and dealing in trafficking/blackmail? of course - but the sheer breadth of his influence says he wasn't alone, everyone around him knew, and the "mutually assured destruction" nature meant anyone could be burned/ manipulated at any time, damn the authenticity.
and they all got paid.
