None of it really makes sense to me, but maybe I am missing something.
If Huma/Weiner had an email client set up on the porno laptop, then it seemingly would have been using either IMAP or POP.

That fits my recollection of those days,
But it wasn't POP, since that deletes the messages on the server, and Huma was actually using other devices, so that didn't happen.
But IMAP only downloads messages when they are read, which is basically how most email clients (mobile and web) work today.
So they would NOT have been available in some giant hidden stache on the porno laptop.
It is all very suspicious.
