Homegrown is the best option imo. Regulate your intake with brass bat one hitter . Dosing mj by the mg is ridiculous, intake slowly until desired effects are reached.
Cooking with the unsmokeable parts of the plant is a good idea but should be done by the end user, regulation and oversight is too complicated.
Black market becomes dangerous (fentanyl).
Want to fix the mj laws in this country?
Make it illegal to sell or advertise publicly for the sake of children they'll figure it out one day but they don't need stoner culture of all shapes and sizes shoved down their throats.
Legalize small quantity possession for adults in public. (<ounce?)
Legalize Cottage industry grow licenses for small scale <20 plants and don't charge out the ass for it.
People would grow the plants for themselves and give away or sell privately amongst acquaintances. Users would value quality and knowledge of who and how it was grown. Illegal bud slave farms couldn't compete with homegrown, dispensaries would go out of business, cartels wouldn't bother with mj when the more illicit drugs are quicker and cheaper to produce with much higher profit margins.
Seed from bags bought from growers in the past. Organic soil, organic fertilizer, organic product, organic seed.
