once they have more than a certain amount that proves that they don't NEED it, doesn't it?
only if they are.
sometimes they aren't.
yours is a cheep mantra.
just tell someone that they are when they aren't.
If they are they don't need to sound blasphemous.
and they wouldn't.
They'd say 'Jesus Christ is the Light'
'Jesus Christ is the Love'
'Jesus Christ is the Truth'
your way sounds vain and wrong and blasphemous.
but you already know that because you aren't any of that, are you? or are you just confused?
Buddhism isn't correct theology, anon.

There's No Way Out Of Here
the genre of lyrics in the theme of 'no exit' also includes 'Hotel California' as well as the one I posted above with Donna Summer.
I suppose Sartre didn't invent it, though he did write 'No Exit', the play.
How was Adam poor? He had dominion over the Garden of Eden, all he had to do was not eat of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil.
What's it showing? The mindsets that we should shed?
sometimes the music is like a trap, believing in that mindset is not what the song is for and yet people do.
Or it displays a foolishness and immature mindset like the stalker pop music of the 1950's, 60's and 70's.
Catchy toon, but the mindset is depressive, obsessive and wrong.
I've got an example.
Poppy Family
Which Way you Going Billy
obviously the song is an obsessed person who has mistaken her attraction and love for someone else as if they are one person and she NEEDS him, she gives up her freedom and and her soul and gives him all the power.
But the song is catchy and the sentiment is very common.
There are a lot of other examples.
by 1973 or so I think some love songs had been come almost allegories for addiction.
They pretend it is about a lover, but the sentiments are addiction, opioids, that 'feeling' thing that IS NOT REAL LOVE.
Great Music. Junkies are often awesome musicians and singers.

Roberta Flack - First Time Ever I Saw Your Face 1972
This is a great song but . . .
It's GOD who gives us that 'everything', not another human.
and it makes me cry because I think of my parents, and I shouldn't because they had good lives and were awesome.
The Hollies: He Ainโt Heavy, Heโs My Brother
Sometimes a dirge is just great!
It's a memorial for the holy dead.
