In political science, the term banana republic describes a politically and economically unstable country with an economy dependent upon the export of natural resource.
A banana republic is a country with an economy of state capitalism, where the country is operated as a private commercial enterprise for the exclusive profit of the ruling class. Typically, a banana republic has a society of extremely stratified social classes, usually a large impoverished working class and a ruling class plutocracy, composed of the business, political, and military elites. The ruling class controls the primary sector of the economy by exploiting labor. Such exploitation is enabled by collusion between the state and favored economic monopolies, in which the profit, derived from the private exploitation of public lands, is private property. At the same time, the debts incurred thereby are the financial responsibility of the public treasury. Therefore, the term banana republic is a pejorative descriptor for a servile oligarchy that abets and supports, for kickbacks, the exploitation of large-scale plantation agriculture, especially banana cultivation.
Such an imbalanced economy remains limited by the uneven economic development of towns and countries and usually reduces the national currency into devalued banknotes (paper money), thereby rendering the country ineligible for international development credit.

Radical Lunatic Identified and Arrested for Major Attack on US Attorney Alina Habba’s Office Following Manhunt
The person responsible for carrying out a massive attack on U.S. Attorney Alina Habba’s office in New Jersey earlier this week has been identified and arrested.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi broke the news on the arrest on Saturday morning on X:
“Thanks to the great work of @FBI, @USMarshalsHQ, and @HSI_HQ, the suspect wanted in the attack on @USAttyHabba’s office is now in custody,” Bondi wrote.
“No one will get away with threatening or intimidating our great US Attorneys or the destruction of their offices,” she continued.
As Fox News reported, the FBI identified the suspect Friday night as Keith Michael Lisa.
Lisa is a 51-year-old male born in California. He is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, has brown and gray hair, and brown eyes.
He was considered armed and dangerous.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that a bat-wielding man appeared at US Attorney Alina Habba’s office Wednesday evening and destroyed property in her office before fleeing the scene.
According to The New York Times, security turned him away, so he returned without a bat and was allowed to enter the building for some reason.
He then went to the floor where Habba’s office is and began yelling incoherently and smashing property. It is unclear whether he made specific threats against Habba.
Habba responded to the attack on X.
“I will not be intimidated by radical lunatics for doing my job,” Habba wrote.
