Capping a week in which he faced a coordinated blitz by Democrats and allied journalists working to implicate him in the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein, President Trump had a social media meltdown Friday night, lashing out at two GOP representatives who both enjoy deep national support among conservatives. Trump withdrew his endorsement of one and stooped to ridiculing the other for re-marrying 15 months after the death of his wife. It's likely no coincidence that both reps Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie were among four Republicans who signed a discharge petition to force a floor vote on a bill that would compel the DOJ to release all its Epstein files. Trump and GOP leaders on Capitol Hill have opposed that effort.

Massie isn't just a signatory of that petition, but its principal champion, having introduced it this summer along with Democratic California Rep. Ro Khanna. When Speaker Mike Johnson finally brought the House back into session this week after nearly two months of idleness, Massie secured the required 218th signature on the Epstein-file discharge petition, a parliamentary avenue that overrides Johnson's ability to determine which bills are voted upon. When the vote on Massie's bill takes place on Tuesday, a far larger number of Republicans are expected to vote for it, rather than face subsequent attacks for voting to keep the Epstein files under wraps.

Posting on his Truth Social account, Trump's first attack targeted Massie, whom the president has repeatedly denigrated going back to his first administration. The twice-divorced and alleged-repeat-philanderer Trump suggested Massie remarried too quickly after his wife died in June 2024; the libertarian-minded Kentuckian married a former Rand Paul staffer last month. Trump implied the marriage was hurting Massie's 2026 political prospects, claiming "polls" give Massie "less than an 8% chance" of being re-elected. ZeroHedge was unable to find a published poll that aligns with that characterization. Massie won his last three primaries handily, amassing more than 75% of the vote in each one.

It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.

But really most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream.

That’s what I voted for.

I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him.

But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump.

I worship God, Jesus is my savior, and I serve my district GA14 and the American people.

I remain the same today as I’ve always been and I will continue to pray this administration will be successful because the American people desperately deserve what they voted for.

New Facial Recognition Vans Rolled Out For Use By 7 More UK Police Forces

The Metropolitan Police, South Wales Police and Essex Police have been using the facial recognition vans for some time to mixed receptions.

The software enables officers to use cameras mounted on top of their vans to locate people on their watchlists by filming the surrounding area.

Home Office funding has been provided for new facial recognition vans in Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, Bedfordshire, Surrey, Sussex, Thames Valley and Hampshire.

The Met released a report last month which said that from September 2024 to September 2025 the software had a false alert rate of 0.0003 percent from more than three million scans.

Civil liberties and anti-racism groups criticised the software for having a “well-documented history of inaccurate outcomes and racial bias” ahead of the Notting Hill Carnival this year.

In response, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley acknowledged that the software was “limited” when it was used at the Carnival in 2016 and 2017 but has made “considerable progress” since then.

Ahead of the new rollout, Chief Inspector Andy Hill, of Surrey Police, was asked if he still harboured concerns about false readings from the technology.

He said: “There’s been a lot of development with the software, a lot of national testing to give us confidence in the software and, at the last Notting Hill Carnival this year, their positive alerts were much higher.”

The police watchlists uploaded to the van are bespoke and will include details and photos of wanted people and people subject to court orders like sex offenders.

If their faces are scanned by the van’s cameras it will alert the officer to the match, and they can verify whether the comparison is correct and take action.

“It’s a positive step in terms of using the latest technology available to us, and it’s about pursuing criminals, it’s about investigating crime thoroughly and also reassuring the public that we are out and about and we are visible and we’re doing our job,” Mr Hill said.

Across the seven new centres, 10 new vans are to be deployed including one in Surrey and another in Sussex which will at times be used in tandem.

The police have said that images of people walking past the van which do not set off an alert will be deleted in less than a second.

Mr Hill said: “We want to be as open and transparent about our deployments, we publish them on our website at least seven days in advance, and we’ll publish the results afterwards as well,

“And during the deployment, we’ve got signage up to inform people that they’re entering a zone of live facial recognition with information on that, and also they can talk to any of our officers at any time about the technology.”

Surrey Police will be deploying a Live Facial Recognition van in Redhill on November 13.

US approves first arms sale to Taiwan under Trump

Beijing has said that the American weapons supplies to the self-governing island violate China’s sovereignty and security interests

The Pentagon has announced that it has approved its first arms sales to Taiwan since US President Donald Trump took office in January. China, which views the self-governing island as part of its territory, has called the move an infringement on its sovereignty.

The proposed deal will see Taipei spend $330 million to acquire spare parts for the American-made aircraft that it operates, the US Department of War said in a statement on Thursday.

The purchase should help Taiwan with “maintaining the operational readiness of the… fleet of F-16, C-130” and other planes, the statement read.

The spokeswoman for Taiwan’s presidential office, Karen Kuo, welcomed the approval, claiming that the “deepening of the Taiwan-US security partnership is an important cornerstone of peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.”

According to Taipei’s Defense Ministry, the sale of the US aircraft parts will “take effect” within a month.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said during a briefing that Beijing “deplores and opposes” American arms sales to Taiwan, which go against China’s security interests and “send a gravely wrong signal to ‘Taiwan independence’ separatist forces.”

The Taiwan issue is “the first red line that must not be crossed in China-US relations,” the spokesman warned.

Officially, the US supports the One-China policy, stating that Taiwan, which has maintained de facto self-rule since 1949 but never officially declared independence from Beijing, is an integral part of the country.

However, Washington has maintained contact with the authorities in Taipei and promised to defend the island militarily in the event of a conflict with the mainland.

China has said repeatedly that its goal is “peaceful reunification” with Taiwan, but has warned that it will not hesitate to use force should Taipei formally declare independence.

In September, the Washington Post reported that Trump had blocked a $400 million arms deal with Taipei ahead of his meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.

Israel told US F-35 sale to Saudis should be conditioned on normalization — report

Israel does not object to the United States supplying Saudi Arabia with F-35 stealth fighter jets but insists that any transfer of such advanced aircraft be conditioned on the normalization of relations between Riyadh and Jerusalem, Channel 12 and Axios report.

The report, by journalist Barak Ravid, cites two Israeli sources involved in the matter who state that Jerusalem views Saudi Arabia obtaining the jets differently than it does with countries such as Turkey, which has sought them to make up ground on regional rivals such as Israel.

“We told the Trump administration that the supply of F-35s to Saudi Arabia needs to be subject to Saudi normalization with Israel,” Axios quotes an Israeli official stating, insisting that not conditioning the sale on diplomatic progress between the two nations would be “counterproductive.”

“Unlike the supply of F-35s to Turkey that we strongly oppose, we are less concerned about such a weapons system in Saudi Arabia if it’s part of a regional security cooperation as part of the Abraham Accords, like we have with the United Arab Emirates,” Axios quotes a second official as saying.

Israel has expressed concern in the past over the potential sale of the advanced F-35 fighter jets to nearby countries, as it is anxious to preserve its qualitative military edge in the region. Today, Israel is the only country in the Middle East with F-35s in its arsenal, currently operating 45 of the aircraft with another 30 units on order.

“It takes minutes for an F-35 to fly from Saudi Arabia to Israel,” one of the officials tells Axios, insisting that Israel requires that any Saudi F-35s not be stationed in the west of the country.

On Friday, US President Donald Trump said that he was considering agreeing to a deal to supply Saudi Arabia with the jets, several days ahead of a planned trip by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. They are expected to sign economic and defense agreements.

Trump repeated that he hopes Saudi Arabia will soon join the Abraham Accords, which have normalized relations between Israel and Muslim-majority nations. Riyadh has resisted such a step absence of an agreement on a roadmap to Palestinian statehood.

Epstein Exchanged Emails With Former Lawyer For Barack Obama

Pedophile Jeffrey Epstein cut ties with Bill Clinton because he thought the former president was a liar, according to new emails his estate turned over to Congress on Wednesday.

The emails, obtained by the House Oversight Committee, also reveal that Kathryn Ruemmler — former White House counsel to Barack Obama — maintained a remarkably cozy relationship with Epstein. The two exchanged friendly messages and regularly chatted politics in the run-up to the 2016 election, underscoring just how deep Epstein’s connections ran inside Democratic power circles, the New York Post reported.

In a Jan. 23, 2016, email, Epstein wrote that he broke off contact with Clinton after “he swore, with whole-hearted conviction to me that he had done something, he had forgotten that he also swore the exact opposite to me only weeks before.”

“Who knows what they’re talking about,” a Clinton spokesperson replied in a statement. “What we do know and have always said is that President Clinton knew nothing about Epstein’s heinous crimes and hadn’t spoken to him in twenty years. Now here it is in black and white.”

“I will just say I told you so. Not to sound overly dramatic, but he is very close to being a psychopath,” Ruemmler had said earlier in the exchange of the mysterious individual. “[H]e has no conscience. It’s scary.”

“He obviously said something to you yesterday that was disturbing, and you don’t want to tell me. Just tell me — I can take it. I promise,” added Ruemmler of the person, who at one time was listed in January 2019 as a backup executor to Epstein’s estate, according to The Wall Street Journal.
