Attorney Robert Barnes shared that the SDNY US Attorney worked with clients associated with Epstein. He previously represented frequent Epstein Island visitor Reid Hoffman, the large man who was behind the E Jean Carroll lies against President Trump.

Israel fires on UN troops

The Jewish state says the incident in southern Lebanon was due to poor weather conditions, with no casualties reported

UN peacekeepers stationed in southern Lebanon have accused Israel of firing on one of their patrols, criticizing the country for its “aggressive behavior.” Israel has acknowledged that the incident occurred, but said it was not intentional and was due to poor weather conditions.

In a statement on Sunday, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) fired on personnel from a Merkava tank.

It called the incident “a serious violation” of the ceasefire deal between Israel and Lebanon that ended the 2006 war, stressing that it was not the first attack of this kind. “Yet again, we call on the IDF to cease any aggressive behavior and attacks on or near peacekeepers, who are working to support the return to the stability that both Israel and Lebanon say they seek.”

Israel confirmed that its forces fired on UN troops, but claimed it was by mistake. The IDF said its soldiers had identified “two suspects” in the El Hamames area and fired warning shots, after which the individuals withdrew, with no injuries reported.

After reviewing the incident, the IDF said the suspects “were UN soldiers who were conducting a patrol in the area and were classified as suspects due to poor weather conditions,” adding that “no deliberate fire was directed toward UNIFIL soldiers.”

Lebanon accused Israel of “violating Lebanese sovereignty, causing instability and obstructing the full deployment of the army in the south.”

The Israel-Lebanon border has long been a volatile area, with the Jewish state and Lebanese paramilitary group Hezbollah often exchanging strikes.

Tensions soared after the Israel-Hamas conflict erupted in 2023, with Hezbollah – an ally of Hamas – launching rockets and missiles into the neighboring state, and Israel responding in kind. In late 2024, Israeli forces crossed into southern Lebanon.

As part of a ceasefire deal later that year, Israel agreed to a full withdrawal, but has only done so partially – keeping several outposts in Lebanon and arguing that Hezbollah remains active in the area and poses a threat.

Bangladesh court sentences former prime minister to death

Sheikh Hasina has been found guilty in absentia of ordering the use of deadly weapons against protesters in a popular uprising

Bangladesh’s International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Monday handed down in absentia a death sentence to former prime minister Sheikh Hasina in a crimes against humanity case.

The verdict found her guilty of ordering a violent crackdown on student-led protests last year, according to media reports.

The charges against Hasina include murder, attempted murder, torture, and allegedly ordering the use of deadly weapons against the protesters.

“The verdicts announced against me have been made by a rigged tribunal established and presided over by an unelected government with no democratic mandate. They are biased and politically motivated,” Hasina said in a statement.

Hasina, who fled to India after the uprising in 2024, said in a recent interview with RT that the verdict was a “foregone conclusion.” She now lives in India.

Up to 1,400 people died, most by gunfire from security forces in the crackdown, per UN estimates. The protests ended after she fled the country.

Others who have been charged in the case are ex-Interior Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former police chief Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun. Al-Mamum was the only accused present in the court.

The chief adviser of the interim Bangladesh government currently running the country is Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus. Bangladesh is slated to hold elections in 2026. Hasina’s Awami League, which had been in power for 15 years before the uprising, has been barred from participating.

Hasina is the daughter of Bangladesh’s first president, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who was assassinated in a 1975 military coup.

Ahead of the verdict, hundreds of protesters marched toward Dhanmondi 32, the former residence of Rahman.

A husband and wife duo accused of running a sophisticated sex ring in Louisiana are previously deported illegal migrants with lengthy rap sheets.

Murillo Lazano-Vargas and Zabdi Danea Guzman-Diaz were apprehended by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office earlier in November on charges related to the promotion of prostitution, human trafficking by force and pandering, according to local outlet WAFB. The married couple are Mexican nationals who are not only living in the U.S. unlawfully, but had already been deported from the country before returning to allegedly launch their illicit brothel enterprise, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

“On November 6, ICE Homeland Security Investigations executed a search and arrest warrant for a human trafficking and sexual exploitation investigation,” a DHS spokesperson stated to the Daily Caller News Foundation. “HSI Law enforcement rescued three victims of these barbaric criminals.”

“Thanks to the brave men and women of ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement], these human traffickers and predators are off the streets,” the DHS spokesperson continued. “President Trump and Secretary Noem are dismantling transnational criminal networks.”

Local law enforcement received a tip in January that an individual going by the moniker “Primo,” later identified as Lazcano-Vargas, was overseeing a home in the Baton Rouge area where prostitution and human trafficking were allegedly taking place, according to WAFB. The Mexican national allegedly used WhatsApp to send explicit images of females to arrange meetings with clients, with investigators later determining that his wife was a co-conspirator in the scheme.

Lazcano-Vargas was previously convicted for domestic abuse, child abuse and aggravated assault, and Guzman-Diaz was previously convicted of illegal entry, according to DHS.

“Human trafficking is one of the most heinous crimes in our society, and I’m extremely proud of the tireless work of our detectives and partner agencies in bringing these individuals to justice,” East Baton Rouge Sheriff Sid Gautreaux said in a public statement. “Rescuing these victims and holding their traffickers accountable is a testament to what can be accomplished when local, state, and federal agencies work together with one shared mission — to protect the vulnerable and ensure justice is served.”

Extremists torch buildings, cars in Palestinian town in West Bank; IDF launches pursuit

Defense Minister Israel Katz says he gives his “full backing” to the chief of the IDF Central Command, Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth, following the recent settler attacks in the West Bank.

“We will not tolerate attempts by a small, violent, criminal group of anarchistic law-breakers to take the law into their own hands and tarnish the settler public, and we will not allow them to harm IDF soldiers, undermine order, or divert forces from their missions of protecting the citizens of Israel and thwarting Palestinian terrorism,” Katz says in a statement.

MTG suggests Israel or ‘other foreign gov’t’ may be pressuring Trump to cover up Epstein files

Renegade Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Sunday publicly questioned whether Israel or another country is pressuring President Trump to conceal the files on late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein.

The congresswoman had noted in a post on X on Saturday that she hasn’t received donations from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a k a AIPAC, while asking “who and what country is putting so much pressure” on Trump.

Greene, pressed on Sunday’s “State of the Union” on CNN about whether she was alleging that “Israel is pushing the president of the United States to cover up the Epstein files,” initially claimed that she wasn’t.

“No, I simply just asked out loud, is there a foreign government? It could be any foreign government. But is a foreign government pushing to keep this covered up because people just don’t understand the big fight against [releasing the Epstein files],” she said.

But when anchor Dana Bash brought up her X post about AIPAC, Greene said, “I’m questioning that government [Israel] in particular and questioning any other foreign government.”

Greene’s Saturday post claimed that the Epstein files — which she has been demanding Trump fully release — and AIPAC’s concerns with her were fueling the Republican president’s attacks against her.

“I think it’s a question that many Americans are asking, especially when we saw information recently come out in these emails that the Oversight Committee that I serve on has released, and we saw Jeffrey Epstein with ties to [former Israeli Prime Minister] Ehud Barak,” Greene told CNN of her X post.

“I think the right question is to ask is, was Jeffrey Epstein working for Israel? And I’m proud to say I don’t take money from AIPAC. I don’t take money from any special group of people.”

Recent disclosures from the powerful House Oversight Committee detailed communications between Epstein and Barak, who served as Israel’s prime minister from 1999 to 2001, about a conflict in the West African country of Cote d’Ivoire in the early 2010s.

Epstein had encouraged Barack, who was then serving as Israel’s defense minister, to take advantage of the conflict and leverage Israeli intelligence-gathering of phone systems in the beleaguered country.

“We saw him making business deals with them, also business deals that involved the Israeli government, and seems to have led into their intel agencies,” Greene said, referring to the communications between Epstein and Barak.

Greene’s remarks come in the midst of an epic feud between her and Trump that erupted last week after months of her taking digs at the president. Trump yanked his support for Greene on Friday and accused her of going “far left.”

Palestinian prisoner deaths spike amid systematic abuse, neglect, rights group finds

Former prison guard says it was ‘business as usual’ when he came to work and found dead prisoner; commanders who participated in beatings told guards to reduce number of deaths

The number of Palestinians dying in Israeli custody has surged to nearly 100 people since the start of the war in Gaza, according to a report published Monday by a human rights group that says systematic violence and denial of medical care at prisons and detention centers contributed to many of the deaths it examined.

The picture that emerges from the report by Physicians for Human Rights-Israel is consistent with findings by The Associated Press, which interviewed more than a dozen people about prison abuses, medical neglect, and deaths, analyzed available data, and reviewed reports of autopsies. AP spoke with a former guard and a former nurse at one prison, an Israeli doctor who treated malnourished prisoners brought to his hospital, former detainees and their relatives, lawyers representing them, and rights groups.

The former guard at a military prison notorious for its harsh treatment of Palestinians told the AP detainees were routinely shackled with chains and kicked and hit with batons, and that the facility had been dubbed a “graveyard” because so many prisoners were dying there. He agreed to talk to AP to raise awareness of violence in Israeli prisons and spoke on condition of anonymity due to fear of reprisal.

Of the 98 prisoner deaths PHRI documented since the Hamas-led October 7, 2023, massacre that ignited the war, 27 occurred in 2023, 50 in 2024, and 21 this year, the most recent on November 2. PHRI says the actual death toll over this timeframe is “likely significantly higher,” noting that Israel has refused to provide information about hundreds of Palestinians detained during the war.

Fewer than 30 Palestinians died in Israeli custody in the 10 years preceding the war, PHRI says. But since the war, the prison population has more than doubled to 11,000 as people were rounded up, mainly from Gaza and the West Bank. The number of prisoners dying grew at an even faster rate over that period, PHRI data shows.

Maduro: Zionists trying to hand 'Christian Venezuela' to 'devils' amid US tensions

"We are the people of David against the Goliaths that we have already defeated in history," Maduro stated.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said Zionists were trying to deliver his country to “devils” in a Saturday Bolivarian Integral Base Committees speech focused on pleading with the US against military escalation in the region.

Anti-Israel groups have also tied Israelis to tensions in the Caribbean. The National Students for Justice in Palestine group announced on Friday a national day of action to “smash imperialism” and “crush Zionism.”

The Wednesday protest day against US military action targeting drug cartels and alleged drug boats asserted that “security” was a pretense for imperialist expansion.

“As students engaged in the struggle for Palestinian liberation, we recognize these strikes as part of the same machinery that arms the Zionist entity’s genocide of the Palestinian people,” said the SJP.

“Our struggle situates itself in a global struggle against imperialism, and we know when we strike the institutions in the belly of the beast, we weaken the chain that props up the Zionist entity’s occupation of Palestine. Laurent Nuñez visited the European Center for Judaism in Paris to announce his "total commitment to responding to fears of antisemitism."

“Rest assured I will let nothing pass in terms of antisemitism,” France’s interior minister, Laurent Nuñez, said at the European Center for Judaism in Paris on Sunday.

Nuñez was at the center to attend the election of the president of the Central Consistory, the representative institution of the Jewish community of France.

It marked the first such visit for Nuñez, who assumed the role just weeks ago after the departure of Bruno Retailleau. The interior minister in France is also in charge of religious affairs.

“I want to assure you of my total commitment to responding to your fears of antisemitism, we share them,” he told the leaders of 260 synagogues present at the event. “I will let nothing go in matters of antisemitism, in whatever guise it takes,” he added.

He pointed out that 60% of anti-religious acts in France are antisemitic, with the figure rising to 80% in the Paris region.

Attorney And Longtime Friend of President Trump Drops BOMBSHELL Allegation: Dominion Voting Machines Examined By Experts In Michigan Found “[Phone] chips mounted on the motherboards”

On Sunday afternoon, Independent Election Integrity Investigator Peter Bernegger shared a bombshell post on “X” featuring a video of Peter Ticktin.

In a segment on Real America’s Voice, Ticktin can be seen claiming he has evidence that the Dominion voting machines used in Michigan’s 2020 election contained “phone chips” mounted on the motherboards.

Ticktin was referring to the case brought by Michigan’s dirty Attorney General Dana Nessel against her former AG opponent, Matt DePerno, in the 2022 election, former conservative State Representative Daire Rendon, and against former Wayne County Prosecutor Stephanie Lambert, who became an expert in election law during the hotly contested 2020 election results in Michigan.

DePerno, Lambert, and former state Rep. Daire Rendon are facing charges connected to a 2021 effort to examine Dominion voting equipment. However, all three maintain their innocence and have not been convicted of any wrongdoing.

According to the state’s allegations, five tabulators from Missaukee, Roscommon, and Barry counties were taken to Oakland County—at locations including a hotel room and a private residence—where outside technicians conducted tests and accessed the internal components of the machines.

Prosecutors say DePerno and Lambert were present at various points during the examinations and that Rendon helped facilitate access by reaching out to local clerks.

However, the defendants dispute the characterization of their roles. When the equipment was returned, officials reported broken security seals and damage to at least one machine, prompting the state to bring charges such as conspiracy and unauthorized access.

The defendants argue their actions were lawful, part of an effort to address public concerns about election integrity, and that the state is mischaracterizing the events.

The cases remain ongoing. Despite Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and the dishonest mainstream media’s best efforts to demonize and destroy the reputations of all three defendants, it’s important to remember that they remain innocent unless proven otherwise in court.

In his video, Attorney Peter Ticktin can be heard discussing the clerk’s role, calling them “the clerks of the court, who own these machines.” Ticktin argues, “They’re the ones who sign the contracts with Dominion machines.” He explained that the clerks handed the machines “gladly” over to these lawyers so they could be examined.
