Pollard eventually pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to deliver national defense information to a foreign government as part of a plea bargain he agreed to in order to secure a lesser sentence for his wife due to her involvement in his crimes. Israel acknowledged its role in Pollard's spying in 1987, after he was sentenced to life in prison for violations of the Espionage Act of 1917.

Officials relied on “toxic and chaotic” leadership under Boris Johnson and did “too little, too late,” a report has found

The UK’s central and local governments failed in their handling of the Covid-19 crisis, leading to thousands of additional deaths, according to a damning report from the official public inquiry into the pandemic response.

Authorities in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland did “too little, too late,” as timely measures such as self-isolation, household quarantine, and social distancing could have prevented 23,000 deaths, the report said, citing computer modelling.

The inquiry found the administrations were too reliant on Westminster to lead the response, while the cabinet of then Prime Minister Boris Johnson was described as suffering from a “toxic and chaotic culture.” Key policy decisions were often dominated or derailed by Johnson’s inner circle, the report stated.

Former judge Heather Hallett, who led the inquiry, noted “destabilizing behavior” by several senior figures, including former Downing Street adviser Dominic Cummings. She accused Johnson of failing to confront – and sometimes “actively encouraging” – the attitude, thus creating “a culture in which the loudest voices prevailed and the views of other colleagues, particularly women, often went ignored, to the detriment of good decision-making.”

According to the report, similar patterns emerged in Scotland, where policy discussions were improperly constrained. In Northern Ireland, partisan conflict and fragmented government structures further hampered effective pandemic response, the inquiry found.

The report stressed that instances of officials and advisers breaking Covid-19 rules eroded public trust. Revelations about lockdown-breaching gatherings inside Downing Street in 2020 and 2021, dubbed the “Partygate” scandal, inflicted lasting political damage on Johnson, contributing to his early resignation in 2022.

In April 2023, Californian Chris Bish provided us with documentation indicating that Adam Schiff was allegedly committing mortgage and/or election fraud. Authorities in the Biden Administration refused to do anything, so Bish went to Congress. This is what we reported:

In 2000, Schiff was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives and has served as a member from the state of California through the 2024 Election. In 2024 Schiff ran for the US Senate.

Schiff reportedly purchased a home in Maryland with his wife in 2003, stating they would occupy this home for 12 consecutive months as their “primary residence”. Despite this claim, Schiff continued to vote in California.

Schiff refinanced his home in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013 claiming the Maryland home was his primary residence. In 2009, a House Ethics investigation claimed that Schiff did this and Schiff claimed it was an error and he repaid the exempt taxes to the state of Maryland.

A fellow member of Congress, Steven Watkins of Oklahoma, was charged with criminal counts for doing the same thing.

In addition, the amount of the home mortgage has remained basically the same this entire time. Bish asked Congress to investigate this matter.

Arizona Attorney General’s Top Official Arrested by Postal Inspectors for Controlling and Trafficking Stolen Property

Vanessa Hickman served as the state government division chief under Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes. She was placed on administrative leave by Mayes’ office last Thursday after the office was contacted by the U.S. Postal Inspector’s office about an investigation into Hickman, according to Mayes spokesperson Richie Taylor. Mayes’ office “cooperated” with the investigation, Taylor said, and Hickman resigned from her position on Monday, though she is still listed on the agency’s website.

“Attorney General Mayes believes that every individual is entitled to due process, but also that justice must be served,” Taylor wrote in an email to Phoenix New Times. “The allegations against Ms. Hickman are serious for any state employee, particularly someone in a leadership position.”

It’s not yet clear what those allegations are. The AG’s office declined to comment further, and USPIS declined to comment on the active investigation. The investigation has been submitted to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for a charging decision, USPIS spokesperson Liz Davis wrote, but the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office stated that they had not yet received the submittal on the case.

Hickman was arrested a little after 7 p.m. Wednesday and booked into Maricopa County Intake, Transfer and Release by 3 a.m. Thursday. She’s since been released, according to Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office’s booking information.

Convicted Child Molester Democrat Who Served Only 15 Months for Sexually Abusing 13-Year-Old Girl Is Running for Mayor of Providence, Rhode Island

English – who is 54 years old – briefly mentioned in a letter announcing his campaign that he had previously been incarcerated:

“I made immature decisions that led to my arrest and a period of incarceration coupled with I dropped out of Hope High School in 1990 and, simply put, I failed to live up to my potential.”

The immature decisions seemingly refer to the then-26-year-old English’s relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

The Democrat pleaded no contest in 1998 to first-degree child molestation, sexual assault, second-degree child molestation, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Despite prosecutors pushing for serious prison time, he was sentenced to 20 years, with all but 18 months suspended, and he served only 15 months thanks to good-behavior credits.

“Although the Attorney General’s Office recommended a 40-year sentence, with seven years to serve, Superior Court Judge Ronald Gagnon issued English a 20-year sentence, with 18 and ½ years suspended, also ordering English to register as a sex offender,” the Providence Journal reports. “A suspended sentence reduces prison time if the convicted individual fulfills certain requirements. In this case, the judge suspended more than 90% of English’s sentence.”

In 2009, the same victim reported that English drove to her home and tried to contact her again. He was convicted of violating the no-contact order and served another 19 months behind bars. He claimed that he just happened to be living across the street from her.

Shockingly, English is not on Rhode Island’s public sex offender registry because his conviction predated stricter laws, and a court ruled he only had to register locally for 10 years.

English now claims he’s a changed man, touting prison-earned degrees and saying his past “immature decisions” shouldn’t stop him from leading Rhode Island’s capital city.

Addressing people who believe that his conviction should disqualify him from holding office, English said, “They’d be wrong, legally. They also should calculate what did I do from then.”

The Democrat candidate even had the audacity to tell the Providence Journal, “If I haven’t showed how to go from nothing to something again, then no one will.”

English’s campaign website states, “Michael is committed to protecting the most vulnerable members of our city and confronting the failures of the current leadership—especially on policing, fixing the broken Providence retirement system, and taking back our schools from the State of Rhode Island so Providence can educate its own children with accountability and pride.”

Ukraine & Europe Reject Trump's Russia Peace Plan, Prepare Emergency Call

By all estimates, this is the first ever US-proposed peace plan which actually demands major concessions from Ukraine, but it also seeks to provide assurances for Kiev's future protection modelled on NATO article five, according to Axios.

Among President Zelensky's top objectives has long been to obtain a robust US and European security guarantee, and this new 28-point plan appears to give just that:

President Trump's peace plan for Ukraine includes a security guarantee modeled on NATO's Article 5, which would commit the U.S. and European allies to treat an attack on Ukraine as an attack on the entire "transatlantic community," - writes Axios.

Such a pledge could be recipe for future war, however, and that's precisely how Moscow might see it, especially if other pressing issues of territory or military NATOization on Russia's doorstep aren't resolved. The security guarantee would be for up to a decade and could be renewed, according to the draft.

There are also reports that the US is already advancing a very ambitious timeline - that it wants to see the plan signed by Thanksgiving, or as soon as next week.

There are even lines for signatures on the document, indicating places for Ukraine, Russia the US, and even NATO and the EU. It's unclear just which representatives would sign from each country or bloc, and its as yet unclear whether Putin himself must sign.

A senior Kremlin official cited in Axios said he was "optimistic" about the plan’s prospects, arguing that it aligns more closely with Moscow's views than previous diplomatic efforts. This is especially as a large portion of the Donbas will be recognized as under Russia's control, and the size and capability of the Ukrainian army will be scaled back, which a commitment to no foreign troops on Ukrainian soil as well.

And yet, as predicted by many, Ukraine and its European backers stand ready to rejected the plan - though it's still only in its draft form and hasn't been seriously negotiated over by the warring sides. Newsweek reports:

Addressing a congress of mayors from across France, General Mandon told the gathered local politicians that he was working to prepare the French military for an anticipated conflict in the next few years, but that the force could only be effective in deterring wars if would-be opponents understood the French people were determined to see it through, with voters prepared to stick with politicians sending young people to the front lines.

Security concerns highlighted included the U.S. pivot from Europe to Asia, Chinese ascendency, and Russian aggression, as well as conflicts in the Middle East and Saharan Africa. The General said he didn’t want to paint too bleak a picture, but nevertheless reflected that “the deterioration is accelerating”.

France is “fundamentally stronger”, richer and more developed than Russia, the General said, but it lacked the “uninhibited” willingness of the Russian state to plough what comparatively little it has in its economy into the military. Worse, according to the intelligence General Mandon said he had, Russia is planning a new war in Europe and may think that the countries best placed to oppose it — like France — are too passive to take decisive action.

He said: “we must accept that we live in a world at risk and that we may have to use force to protect who we are. This is something that had completely disappeared from our family discussions, I think. I imagine that in your communities, it’s rare for our fellow citizens to spontaneously talk about the danger posed by Russia.

Most controversially, the General said: “What we lack, and this is where [local political leaders] have a major role to play, is the strength of soul to accept hurting ourselves to protect what we are… If our country falters because it is not prepared to accept losing its children, because [these discussions never happened], because it is not prepared to suffer economically because we don’t want to prioritise defence production, then we are at risk”.

American troops have pulled up on a Mexican beach in a dramatic escalation of tensions after Donald Trump threatened to bomb the country.

'Changes in water depth and topography altered the perception of the international boundary's location,' the statement said. 'Government of Mexico personnel removed six signs based on their perception of the international boundary's location.'

A Grammy-winning artist was sentenced to 14 years in prison after he was convicted of funneling millions of dollars in foreign contributions to Barack Obama's 2012 reelection campaign.

Fugees rapper Pras Michel, 53, was found guilty of having orchestrated the illegal foreign lobbying scheme on behalf of fugitive Malaysian financier Jho Low.

Michel obtained over $120 million from Jho and steered some of that money through straw donors to Obama´s campaign.

The rapper also tried to end a Justice Department investigation of Low, tampered with two witnesses and perjured himself at trial, prosecutors said.

In April 2023, a federal jury convicted Michel of 10 counts, including conspiracy and acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government.

The trial in Washington included testimony from actor Leonardo DiCaprio and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Michel had publicly appealed to President Donald Trump for clemency, expressing hope his case would receive favorable consideration.

eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant has failed to respond to calls to testify before Congress, as a top Trump ally warns the US takes censorship threats from foreign countries “pretty darn seriously”.

eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant has failed to respond to calls to testify before Congress for making a “direct threat” to the free speech of American citizens.

Earlier this week Sky News host Caroline Marcus exclusively revealed the eSafety boss had been sent a letter signed by a Republican congressman calling on her to testify before Congress for her efforts to censor certain X posts.

The letter requests Ms Grant give testimony before the committee by December 2.

While the request is for US-born Ms Inman Grant to voluntarily appear, Sky News understands there could be moves to legally compel her should she decline.

Speaking to Marcus on Sky News on Friday, US House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary chairman Jim Jordan - who signed the letter - said the US would “welcome her back” and wanted to hear her side.

Mr Jordan, a close ally of President Donald Trump, told Marcus the eSafety Commissioner had recently visited the US.

“She was just here not too long ago, meeting out in Stanford with a bunch of other people who we found in our investigation last Congress were involved in the censorship effort that was undertaken by the Biden administration here in the United States,” he said.

“Big government working with big tech and big academia to censor American speech.”

Mr Jones said the US committee wanted to “talk” to the eSafety boss for trying to impose Australia’s rules on the US in a “global takedown” of some “bad content”.

The letter cited Ms Grant’s court bid last year for the global removal of footage of the livestreamed stabbing of Bishop Mar Mari Emannuel in a western Sydney church.

X owner Elon Musk labelled the injunction "global censorship” as his company argued in court it was sufficient to “geo-block” URLs from Australian users.

eSafety lawyers said this measure could be circumvented with Virtual Private Network (VPN) which obscures geographical location, therefore necessitating global action.
