My take on that is if they try to tie it to the POTUS he will address it, probably give it more legitimacy and its better for them to try to vehemently discredit Q and us while at the same time avoiding the actual simple straightforward question, "who is Q" or "what is Q".
Many are terrified because they have everything…and they have no control over what will drop next.
My take on Q's retraction of two drops is put it out there, take it back, cause more panic due to the proof that they DO have everything.
Disinformation is necessary as Q has stated many times.
