>in Canada got his driveways stolen

here I googled that shit for you

usually happens when they are selling the house

It turns out Brochu was the unintended victim of a scam, designed to steal money from home contractors.

Why would someone hire a contractor to do work on someone elseโ€™s house? According to WFTV9, itโ€™s called an โ€œoverpayment scamโ€ and contractors are actually the intended victims. The idea is to find a home listed for saleโ€”on Zillow, Realtor.com, or any other real estate listing siteโ€”and hire a contractor to do some exterior work to the property. It could be a roofing job, a driveway removal, or even painting the exterior. Once the contractor and scammer agree to a price, the scammer will send a check for more than the agreed-upon price. Then, theyโ€™ll reach out to the contractor, saying there was a mistake on the check, and ask for the extra money to be refunded.

>personally build it (with just one assistant) in 5-10 years for less than $500k.

that's a nice house.

I've built stuff

I think your 10 years is at the better level

for 2 people

including foundations

500k / (10 years * 2 people)

= $25k per year each

$12.50/hour at a regular 2000hr rate

How will you eat?

Will you live in a tent on the site for these 10 years?

Along with your assistant?
