Although I'm not well-versed regarding the technical details, I get the basic idea.
It does seem to me that if they are actually viable, then they are a genuine breakthrough that could yield very interesting things, though possibly with attendant dangers, like many technologies.
So why are all the "big boys" instead touting "AI" that is simply a money-gobbling NPC that studied reddit?
