Q & Anons, I am willing to hop the fence on IBOR, but I do need some help understanding something. I do understand it’s intended purpose, and it is well intentioned.
However, if we allow the government to dictate what our rights are, that means that they can also tell us what are rights are not.
Even though I’m a Libertarian / borderline ancap, I love the U.S. Constitution and the Bill Of Rights They are often misinterpreted and used against us in the case of the 2nd amendment, which means the government has the power to take these rights away. We are here today on this board because this has happened at an egregious level.
Help me out here. Am I making any sense?
Hmm, yes that is a good point.
Is there a specific version of IBOR that we should be supporting? The AT&T one?
Is that the main thrust of IBOR? To extend our protections to the internet? Are they not here already? (FB / Twatter censorship is illegal right?)
