For First Time In A Decade, Italian-Flagged Vessel Returns Migrants To Libya. Open Borders Activists Outraged

The UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) has already announced the opening of an enquiry following Monday’s events, which saw an Italian registered supply ship rescue 108 migrants from a vessel in distress, delivering all aboard to Tripoli on the instruction of the Libyan navy. Since late June, the management of Libya’s SAR (Search And Rescue) zone has been the responsibility of the Libyan navy. The zone extends beyond the country’s territorial waters, covering a maritime area where traffickers’ boats have been met by NGOs, and migrants transported to ports on the European mainland.

Maxine Waters hit with FEC complaint over mailer money

Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters, one of the most outspoken members of the anti-Trump ‘resistance’ in Congress, is facing fresh questions about a longstanding controversy regarding how her campaign raises money and how those funds have flowed to her daughter.

The California congresswoman has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars each election cycle from some of her state’s biggest politicians paying to be listed on her slate mailers—sample ballots traditionally mailed out to about 200,000 voters in Los Angeles highlighting whom she supports.

Since 2004, the campaign in turn reportedly has paid $750,000 to the congresswoman’s daughter, Karen Waters, or her public relations firm Progressive Connections for help producing them.

A government watchdog in July filed the first of two complaints with the Federal Election Commission asking for a full audit of the Citizens for Waters campaign.

Clinton to executive produce TV drama on women’s suffrage with Spielberg

Hillary Clinton is heading to the small screen, executive producing a new TV drama with Steven Spielberg.

The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee is joining forces with the Spielberg’s Amblin Television to bring a book about the women’s suffrage movement to television, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote,” by Elaine Weiss, was published earlier this year. The book — which its publisher calls an “inspiring story of activists winning their own freedom in one of the last campaigns forged in the shadow of the Civil War, and the beginning of the great twentieth-century battles for civil rights” — will be adapted into either a TV movie or a limited series.

Freeing People from Left-Wing Lies

The majority of Democratic voters are victims of a deliberate conspiracy by the leftist media, academia, and the Deep State to mislead them through lies of omission and commission.

A recent Pew survey shows that leftists are much more likely not to want to associate with people who don't share their political views than are conservatives. Furthermore, leftists are more likely not to know any conservatives.

Look at the electoral map from 2016 – the blue areas are all tiny and tightly grouped.

Essentially, most leftist voters live in an intellectual bubble where the fake news media provide the propaganda, and their friends repeat, hence reinforce, the lies, making them seem credible.

The Big Lie works because regular people are rarely willing to tell a big lie. Sure, we lie about little things, but few people will say they saw their neighbor using drugs when they didn't actually see that.

Because real people don't tell big lies, they assume that others won't, either. Hence, when Hitler, or the WaPo, repeats big lies over and over, people tend to end up believing them so long as they don't hear any contradictory voices.

It may not seem like much but the reality is that most Americans, even those who vote Democratic, are decent people. But they've never heard the truth on a wide spectrum of issues.

As the Bible says, the truth will set you free, so exposing basically good people to the truth has a good chance of starting them on the path to rejecting the Democratic party and its lies.

Poll: Senate race between Cruz, O'Rourke a dead heat

The Texas Senate race between Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D-Texas) is neck and neck, according to a new poll released Wednesday.

The 2018 Texas Lyceum Poll showed Cruz leading O'Rourke by a hair — 41-39 percent among likely voters. That's well within the survey's margin of error of 4.67 percentage points.
