If Trump/BO were actually sworn enemies why did BO “warn” Trump about him?

Again, if BO/Trump represent different sides, why did BO warn Trump about Flynn. If they were enemies would he “warn” him? Or was it something else?
What was Flynn’s intention for wanting in that WH? Well I know why, and that’s why it’s clear that Trump is who pushed out Flynn, and used “operation hurricane” as cover and to blame (((them))).
