Has anyone been following the situation in Zimbabwe?

Last week I had a Very Of and completely Random dream, all I remember is waking up to… Zimbabwe. I remember thinking WTH was that all about?!

I haven't been following this at ALL, so I looked up current events in Zimbabwe. At the time the headlines consisted of the ongoing election:
