JUST IN - Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal (29) identified as suspect in shooting of two National Guard members in D.C. — CBS
The Afghan national reportedly opened fire with a revolver. One unarmed National Guardsman fought back with a pocket knife, and another Guardsman returned fire, shooting the suspect multiple times. Both National Guard soldiers were shot in the head. The suspect allegedly shouted“Allahu Akbar!”during the attack.
