If Americans can turn anything into a full-contact sport, it’s cooking a Thanksgiving turkey. Every holiday, the country splits into two groups: the sane people who use ovens and the adrenaline junkies who drop a 20-pound bird into a boiling vat of oil like they’re auditioning for Jackass 6.

But here’s the thing: deep-frying turkeys actually kills about as many people every year as tornadoes and lightning, according to the National Fire Protection Association. On average, five people die, sixty get injured, and more than fifteen million dollars in property goes up in flames because someone said, “Relax, this is easy,” right before turning their backyard into Pompeii.

Every year, firefighters try to warn Americans about the dangers of deep frying their Thanksgiving dinner, and every year someone decides to thrust a 25 pound frozen bird into a vat of scalding oil. The results are volcanic. We’re talking instant fireball, oil geysering out like lava, and a blast that could singe eyebrows two miles away.

Be sure to leave 2 feet between the tanker and the fryer since you don’t want a chain reaction of explosions.

Next up — no tipping: Be sure to set up fryers on a steady, sturdy and level surface to try to avoid tipping. More oil, more problems: Don’t overfill the fryer with oil, because when you drop the turkey in, it can overflow and cause flames.

Invest in thermostats: These cookers often don’t have thermostat controls, so the oil can get too hot and also ignite. You’re shooting for 165 degrees.

Don’t burn the house down: As stated earlier about trees, also make sure your fryer is not near your garage or the deck of your house.

MN activist judge pulls a move that shocks everybody, but karma’s waiting… 1/2

There’s a disturbing pattern playing out across liberal jurisdictions. Activist judges are bending over backward to use their power in the worst possible ways, tearing down anything they can get their grubby hands on. Nowhere is thismore clear than in the blue state of Minnesota, a place drowning in fraud thanks in large part to a massive Somali pipeline that has figured out exactly how to milk our systems for every dime.

And when one of these “immigrants” gets caught draining taxpayers dry, some soft-on-crime left-wing judge always seems to show up right on cue to make it all magically disappear. This time,the culprit was a Somali man who stole more than seven million dollars from US taxpayers through a massive Medicaid scam.A jury saw the evidence, weighed it carefully, and delivered a guilty verdict.

That should’ve been the end of it.

But of course, it wasn’t. Because a female left-wing judge stepped in and made it into a full-blown circus.

And that Judge is Sarah West… she’s a liberal Hennepin County judge who swooped in and overturned the jury’s verdict. Just like that.

It’s incredible, and honestly infuriating, how these cases always play out the same way.First, you get an immigrant who shows up and immediately figures out how to bleed our systems dry. It’s never a small amount either. They don’t dabble. They go straight for the millionsbecause they know the odds of being held accountable are basically zero.

And that’s where the next part of the pattern kicks in. When the fraud finally gets exposed, when the state uncovers fraud, you’d think that would be the end of it. Case closed. Guilty is guilty, right?

Wrong.

In Blue America, it’s never that simple. That’s whenan activist judgegets his orher marching orders and turns the entire judicial system upside down.

At some point, we need to stop acting like any of this is normal.We need to stop granting unlimited access to programs that get looted again and again. Town Hall:

Despite all the evidence of fraud, a ==Minnesota judge has just overturned a jury’s guilty verdict in one Medicare fraud case••, paving the way for all the other fraud convictions to be overturned as well.

The jury heard that Yusuf and his wife were charged and the jury learned his “home health company” was operated out of a mailbox at an address where multiple other “home health companies” also operated. The state showed they spent tens of thousands of dollars on luxury items.

The jury quickly found the couple guilty. Now, a judge in Hennepin County, Sarah West, has overturned that verdict.

“It’s reversing or overturning a jury’s verdict,” said defense attorney Joe Tamburino. Tamburino was not affiliated with Yusuf’s case but looked at the judge’s decision.

According to Tamburino, Judge West said the state’s cased relied “heavily on circumstantial evidence” and that the state did not “exclude other reasonable, rational inferences.”

“That, in fact, there could’ve been other reasonable theories other than guilt in this case. That’s what it comes down to,” Tamburino said.

Judge West herself said she was “troubled” by the fraud in this case.

State Rep. Kristin Robbins, chair of the House Fraud Prevention and State Oversight Committee, said she was “stunned” by Judge West’s ruling.

“We want to strengthen state law so that we can get prosecutions out of these cases,” Robbins said. “Because clearly a jury thought he was guilty.”

Jurors are stunned, too. “I’m shocked,” said jury foreman Ben Walfoort.“I’m shocked based off of all of the evidence that was presented to us and the obvious guilt that we saw based off of said evidence. It was not a difficult decision whatsoever,” Walfoort said. “The deliberation took probably four hours at most.”

“Based off of the state’s evidence that was presented, It was beyond a reasonable doubt,” Walfoort said.

The Attorney General has filed an appeal. It should be a slam dunk, but with the crackpot judges we’re dealing with these days, who knows anymore.But most experts agree, karma is waiting in the wings, and thiswill be overturned and leave a smudge on this judge’s reputation, which is already questionable.

This is a miscarriage of justice, but in today’s climate, where the judicial system is overrun by political activists in black robes, it’s sadly not surprising.

Guardsmen Shooting Suspect Reportedly Shouted 'Allahu Ackbar!'

A law enforcement source in Washington, D.C. has told me today’s shooting suspect, who critically wounded two West Virginia National Guardsmen, used a revolver and shouted “Allahu ackbar” during the ambush.

The suspect’s name is Rahmanullah Lakanwal. He is originally from Afghanistan and he entered the United States in 2021.

I’m told while Lakanwal was shooting the two Guardsmen, a supervisor, who was checking on the lower enlisted andhad just left the scene, ran behind cover. Lakanwal reportedly then used one of the Guardsmens’ firearms to continue shooting.

As the suspect was reloading, the Guardsman used a pocket knife to stab him. A different Guardsman ran to the scene and shot the suspect multiple times.

I have been told further information about the suspect but I am waiting on final confirmation.
