Syrian media says 13 killed in Israeli Beit Jinn raid, one of IDF’s deadliest since Assad’s fall
November 28, 2025 3:01 pm
Thirteen people were killed in an Israeli raid in southern Syria overnight, Syrian state media updates, with Damascus accusing Israel of a “war crime” in a village where Israel said its troops came under fire during an operation to arrest militants.
The Israeli military said six soldiers were wounded, three of them severely, by militant fire during the raid in the village of Beit Jinn.
The casualty tolls suggest the Israeli raid spiralled into one of the deadliest since President Bashar al-Assad was toppled a year ago.
Israel frequently bombed Syria when it was ruled by Assad and stepped up its military operations in the country after he was ousted, citing goals that include keeping militants away from the frontier.
The Israeli military said its troops had gone on an operation to detain suspects belonging to Jama’a Islamiya — a Lebanese Sunni Islamist group which fired rockets at Israel from Lebanon during the Gaza war — accusing them of involvement in “terrorist plots.”
The military described the raid as part of routine operations in the area in recent months.

SpaceX to launch more than 100 satellites on Transporter-15 rideshare today after delays
November 28, 2025
SpaceX's workhorse rocket is once again poised to deliver more than 100 spacecraft to Earth orbit. after more than a week of delays.
A Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Transporter-15 rideshare today (Nov. 28) from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. Liftoff is expected from Vandenberg's Space Launch Complex-4E during a 57-minute window that opens at 1:18 p.m. EST (1818 GMT).
The mission has been delayed since Nov. 18, with SpaceX calling off a launch attempt on Wednesday, just 15 minutes before liftoff.
Transporter-15 will deliver 140 satellites into a sun-synchronous orbit, where each will begin its own, individualized mission.
A livestream of the launch will be available on the SpaceX Transporter-15 mission website, the company's profile on X, beginning about 15 minutes prior to liftoff.
The mission continues SpaceX's increasing frequency of rideshare launches, and follows on the heels of the late-summer liftoff of the Transporter-14 flight, which delivered dozens of cubesats, tech demos and research craft into low Earth orbit (LEO).
Not all of Transporter-15's payloads were confirmed or identified before launch, but among those that have, there are notable contributions from organizations like the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA), as well as companies and organizations like Planet Labs, SEOPS, Leaf Space and various universities and educational institutions.
ESA's HydroGNSS-1 and HydroGNSS-2 satellites will fly as part of the agency's first Scout mission.
They will study Earth's water cycle using the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) reflectometry measurement technique to quite literally "scout for water," according to ESA.
Taiwan is launching the FORMOSAT-8A Earth-imaging satellite, as well as three domestically built cubesats: Bellbird-1, Black Kite-1 and TORO-8U-1, from Tron Future Tech, Rapidtek Technologies Inc. and Pyras Technology Inc., respectively.
They will test high-speed data transferal communications, Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and conduct remote sensing to monitor algae, plankton and ocean health.
Pelican imaging satellites 5 and 6, as well as 36 SuperDoves in the "Flock 4H" group, have been included on the rideshare launch by Planet Labs.
The company's expanding Earth-observation Pelican network is designed to "efficiently capture fleeting and emerging events, especially those that may anticipate new patterns or risks," the Planet Labs website says.
The accompanying SuperDoves will join Planet Labs' PlanetScope monitoring mission.

SEOPS will utilize Transporter-15 to demonstrate its custom payload integration capabilities with the deployment of a wide range of student-built, scientific and commercial spacecraft.
They include four payloads managed by Alba Orbital. Also flying is Hungary's HUNITY, a new "pocketqube" platform for even smaller cubesats, measuring as small as 2 inches (5 centimeters).
Two of these pocketqubes are SARI-1 and SARI-2 from the Saudi space agency, which will perform telemetry, IoT experiments and other research. Alba is also flying the ANISCSAT mission from Azerbaijan, which will study environmental conditions in LEO.
SEOPS is managing two cubesats for CS3, called WISDOM and Mauve. WISDOM, part of ESA’s NAVISP program, will test collision avoidance and deorbiting technologies using a 6U cubesat that will separate into two individual 3U spacecraft, while Mauve, a 16U cubesat, will conduct ultraviolet astronomy using a 13-cm telescope.
SEOPS is also handling NASA’s 3UCubed-A, designed to measure precipitating electrons and ultraviolet emissions at Earth's poles, SatRev's PW-6U Earth-imaging satellite for customers in the agricultural and energy industries, and TRYAD-1 and 2, lightning observation satellites built by students at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and Auburn University, and funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation.
A large portion of the satellites on Transporter-15 will be supported by Leaf Space.
In a demonstration of its growing ground infrastructure, the Italian company will add 31 of Transporter-15's payloads to its Leaf Line ground station network — roughly 30% of the launch's total spacecraft.
Those 31 will join 140 spacecraft that utilize the network, operated by various commercial customers who rely on Leaf Space for tracking and telemetry data.
Data on many of Transporter-15's payloads has yet to be released, and the mission's full manifest will likely not be known until after the launch is complete.
Due to the large number of payloads and the diversity of their missions, the Falcon 9's second stage will feature a longer-than-usual deployment process, beginning about 55 minutes after launch and lasting about two hours.
The Falcon 9's first stage, booster 1071, is expected to land about 8.5 minutes after liftoff on SpaceX's "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship, stationed in the Pacific Ocean.
This will be the 30th flight for B1071, which has previously launched 18 Starlink missions, four rideshare missions, five national security missions and two missions carrying Earth-observation satellites.

India deploys anti-drone systems across airports nationwide
November 28, 2025
India is taking a major step toward strengthening airport security as the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) jointly decide to deploy anti-drone systems across major and minor civilian airports.
The move comes amid rising global military tensions and the growing use of drones in modern warfare, prompting India to prepare for potential future threats.
The plan was initially focused on high-risk airports such as Delhi, Mumbai, Amritsar, Jammu, and Srinagar.
These locations were prioritised based on learnings from ‘Operation Sindoor’ and increasing global incidents where drones have been used for surveillance or attacks.
With drones becoming inexpensive and easily accessible, the risk they pose to strategic aviation assets has increased significantly.
Officials revealed that the installed anti-drone systems will be capable of detecting, tracking, and neutralising rogue drones before they pose a threat.
This is the first time India will deploy such technology at airports that handle only passenger aircraft, marking a big shift in the country’s approach to civil aviation security.
The systems aim to prevent intrusions, protect airspace, and avoid disruptions to flight operations.
The decision follows several rounds of high-level meetings involving security and aviation authorities.
While the Ministry of Home Affairs is leading the project, BCAS has formed a specialised committee featuring experts from DGCA, CISF, and other stakeholders.
This coordination ensures that both regulatory and operational needs are addressed during implementation.
The committee is currently finalising the specifications, operational guidelines, and placement strategies for the anti-drone systems.
The focus is on integrating advanced technology that can work seamlessly with existing airport security frameworks. Once the modalities are approved, procurement and phased installation will begin across the country.
This initiative represents a crucial upgrade in India’s civil aviation security landscape.
By proactively preparing for emerging threats, India aims to protect passengers, aircraft, and critical infrastructure from drone-led disruptions or attacks, ensuring safer skies for the future.

Drone alerts multiply in Europe – a major airport forced to shut down again
November 28, 2025
A small buzzing shape in the sky is becoming one of Europe’s biggest security headaches. In just a few months, unexplained drone sightings have disrupted airports, military bases, and national celebrations across the continent.
Now Munich — one of Europe’s busiest hubs — has been forced to halt flights for the second night in a row. And while officials scramble for answers, a growing number of EU governments are pointing to the same culprit.
Munich Airport Shut Down Again After Fresh Drone Sightings
For the second consecutive night, Munich Airport suspended all flights after new reports of unidentified drones near its runways. The interruption began Friday, October 3 at 9:30 p.m., affecting 6,500 passengers and forcing 69 flights to be canceled, diverted, or rescheduled.
Police told AFP that two separate patrols simultaneously reported drone sightings around the north and south runways shortly before 11 p.m. — even though earlier observations had not yet been formally confirmed.
To accommodate stranded travelers, the airport distributed food and set up makeshift sleeping areas. The goal was to reopen by 5 a.m. Saturday, though officials warned that further disruptions were possible.
This marks the second major closure in less than 24 hours. The previous night, more than 30 flights had already been canceled, leaving 3,000 passengers stuck overnight.
Germany Calls It a “National Security Threat”
With Germany celebrating its national reunification holiday, the timing of the shutdown intensified political concern. Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt condemned the incidents as a “threat,” telling Bild that authorities must be allowed to shoot down drones immediately rather than wait for confirmation.
Under current German law, only the police — not the military — may neutralize drones in civilian airspace. Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s government is now preparing to revise aviation security rules, beginning with discussions expected next Wednesday.
For Berlin, the debate is no longer theoretical. Several drones were confirmed the night before near Erding, where the German army operates an airfield, and directly above Munich’s main civilian airport.
A European Pattern: Other Airports Affected
Munich is not alone. In recent weeks:
Copenhagen temporarily shut down operations
Oslo halted several flights because of drone activity
Poland reported repeated airspace intrusions
Romania and Estonia flagged suspicious overflights near sensitive military sites
Many governments — particularly Poland, Romania, and Estonia — openly suspect Russia of probing European defenses with low-cost drones. Moscow has denied all allegations.
In early September, Poland accused Russia of sending 19 drones across its airspace. Danish officials have made similar claims, after Copenhagen Airport and multiple military sites were overflown within days of each other.
Where Are the Drones Coming From?
Despite growing suspicion, no firm evidence has yet identified the operators behind these aircraft. Authorities in Denmark, Germany, and Poland say the devices appear to be coordinated, not amateur flights gone wrong.
The broader concern is what these incidents reveal: a gap in NATO’s defensive capabilities. Small, inexpensive drones are difficult to detect and even harder to intercept without disrupting civilian air traffic — a vulnerability that adversaries may be exploiting.
EU Considers an “Anti-Drone Wall”
On Thursday, all 27 EU member states gathered in Copenhagen to address the escalating threat. Among the proposals under discussion:
the creation of an EU-wide “anti-drone wall” — a mix of radar, jamming equipment, rapid-response units, and joint intelligence systems capable of intercepting hostile or unidentified drones in real time.
For now, the disruptions continue. And as Munich’s back-to-back shutdowns show, Europe is entering a new era in which airport chaos may come not from weather, strikes, or mechanical issues — but from silent aircraft the size of a dinner plate.

Donald Trump 'Intensified' Alien Interest, Set To Declassify UAP Data: Report
28 November 2025 4:44 PM GMT
For decades, the American public has been gripped by a pervasive mystery: has the government been concealing the truth about contact with extraterrestrial life?
Now, at a time when congressional hearings, whistleblower claims, and official Pentagon acknowledgements have dragged the topic of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) into the mainstream, a new, explosive report suggests that President Donald Trump is finally ready to unlock the vault.
Anonymous sources told RadarOnline that the President has already 'ramped up' his personal interest in these alien-related files and is currently positioned to authorise an unprecedented level of disclosure, setting the stage for a monumental confrontation with decades of institutional secrecy.
The intense speculation surrounding President Trump's readiness to reveal classified UAP information comes as the appetite for government transparency has reached a fever pitch among the public.
Although the Pentagon, during his initial administration, authenticated multiple UAP videos and initiated the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO)—the first formal acknowledgment that unidentified craft had been observed performing manoeuvres defying conventional technology—President Trump's commitment to 'maximum transparency' is now said to go far beyond prior government admissions and established protocols.
Sources quoted by RadarOnline claim that, using his current executive authority from the White House, President Trump intends to release files believed to contain classified evidence of non-human technology, pilot testimony, military radar tracking data, and previously withheld analysis.
He is privately expressing frustration with decades of secrecy surrounding the UAP files, believing Americans have 'a right to know' if extraterrestrial life has interacted with Earth.
This narrative positions him not just as a sitting politician, but as a genuine disruptor who is willing to challenge the 'deep state's' oldest secrets, potentially changing the global perception of our place in the universe.
1/2
President Donald Trump's Political Strategy: The Pursuit of UAP Disclosure
President Donald Trump's heightened interest in alien-related intelligence serves several potential strategic functions beyond simple transparency and personal curiosity.
By tapping directly into the vast community of UFO researchers, disclosure advocates, and enthusiasts, the administration can appeal to a highly motivated segment of independent voters and energise online communities.
This action powerfully reinforces his political identity as an outsider who is willing to confront and dismantle the secretive institutions that other presidents have either upheld or been unable to penetrate.
President Trump already has a history of teasing such knowledge, including vague statements during his previous term about 'interesting things' tucked away in national archives and discussing the possibility of declassifying information related to the famous Roswell incident.
Pop culture historians are quick to point out that linking presidents to extraterrestrial mythology is nothing new; John F. Kennedy, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama all faced similar claims of possessing hidden alien knowledge.
However, President Trump's alleged readiness to release materials with potentially dramatic and unprecedented detail—which he has the power to do right now—heightens the stakes considerably for the global scientific and military community.
The Complexity of President Donald Trump's Declassification Challenge
While the President's current rhetoric surrounding UAP disclosure is powerful and compelling, officials steeped in the ways of classification caution that declassifying such material is significantly more complex than the claims suggest.
The core challenge lies in the fact that intelligence regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena is often inextricably linked with vital national security vulnerabilities that must be protected.
Declassifying any footage or analysis that reveals the existence of craft defying current physics also risks revealing sensitive information about the US's own detection systems, its aerospace capabilities, and the true limits of satellite tracking technology.
Releasing some files could, therefore, inadvertently compromise national defence by exposing what the US military can and cannot see, potentially creating new threats or highlighting existing vulnerabilities.
For now, the debate rages across media platforms, political circles, and online forums. The only certainty is that curiosity about life beyond Earth remains as powerful as ever, and the claim that President Donald Trump might unlock the answers ensures the controversy is not going anywhere soon.

“He’s a patriot," Rep. Burlison dismisses efforts to "besmirch" David Grusch, "discredit me"
Nov 28, 2025
Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) — Member, Oversight Committee, Secrets Task Force & Congressional UAP Caucus
Ask a Pol asks:
Have you seen these attacks on your staffer, UFO whistleblower David Grusch lately?
Key Burlison:
”Yes. I think it’s disgusting,” Rep. Eric Burlison exclusively tells Ask a Pol UAPs. “He’s a patriot who served his country. There’s an effort to clearly not only besmirch him, but discredit me and anybody that’s involved in this.
“And you know this Age of Disclosure film that’s coming out? I hope that that generates a lot of buzz. It’s a very serious film and it should be — we need to take this topic very seriously.”
ICYMI — Follow-up to Ask a Pol’s Roswell scoop
“It’s not just Roswell. Roswell is the location for this because that’s the thing that everybody talks about, but I don’t have any belief that there’s probably anything there,” Burlison says.
“I have a feeling that we’ll go and see some pretty cool stuff, but nothing that’s, like, alien-related. So that’s why I’m looking at other locations, but I don’t want to announce those other locations.”
Subscriber question: Where’d you get that Hellfire video?
“I can’t answer that,” Burlison says.
Did Grusch help with it?
“No.”
Caught our ear — per interrogatories:
Any responses to your interrogatories yet?
“Not yet,” Burlison tells Ask a Pol.
