There is absolutely only ONE very simple and clear reason for an 'Election System' to be composed of so many absurdly complex, obscured, convoluted, non-transparent computer-reliant and functionally un-auditable components…. that is, to fucking CHEAT.
I do appreciate your hard work and so many others trying to dig through it all, but there is no trustworthy "democracy" until We count the votes openly, in small precincts, and with everyone in town watching from every angle in the room by however many town's people want to watch.
Otherwise, it's all FAKE "democracy" to me.
And if people would/could just learn what the republic and Bill of Rights is supposed to do, then 'The Democracy' part shouldn't have nearly so much impact on the day to day lives of common ordinary people.
