Very few people actually 'pay' income taxes. Only the six-figures and above.
If you're making less than $100k and aren't a total fuck up, you will get all your withholdings returned when you file. Taking all available deductions for home, vehicle, kids, all sorts of deductibles available will get you a refund larger than what was withheld from your paychecks. At least that's the way it worked pre-Covid and massive alien invasion.
