Man Charged After Allegedly Trying to Open Plane Door Mid-Flight, Yelling ‘We’re All Going to Die’

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/12/man-charged-allegedly-trying-open-plane-door-mid/

A man has been charged after a terrifying incident aboard an Alaska Airlines flight that left passengers and crew fearing for their safety.

The incident happened last week on Alaska Airlines Flight 87, which was traveling from Deadhorse, Alaska, to Anchorage.

According to a report from the New York Post, a passenger named Kassian William Fredericks allegedly rushed to the back of the plane and tried to open a cabin door while the aircraft was in the air.

Court documents said another passenger had just returned from the restroom and saw Fredericks aggressively pulling on the rear cabin door.

That passenger immediately stepped in and grabbed Fredericks after noticing the door handle had already been lifted upward.

Two other male passengers quickly joined in to help restrain him and force him back into his seat.

During the struggle, Fredericks allegedly repeatedly asked to call his mother and asked to smoke a cigarette.

Before the door incident, another passenger reported hearing Fredericks yell, “Stop the plane,” while turning his head toward the back of the aircraft.

People magazine reported that Fredericks made several disturbing statements during the flight.

Witnesses said he claimed invisible people were trying to take over the plane.

At one point, a passenger saw Fredericks swallow a pill and drink Gatorade, believing it might calm him down.

Instead, witnesses said his behavior became more erratic after taking the pill. Continue…

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/12/kushner-witkoff-reportedly-draft-112b-plan-turn-gaza/

Representatives tied to the Trump administration have circulated a sweeping proposal to rebuild war-torn Gaza into a futuristic international destination, according to reporting by The Wall Street Journal.

The plan, formally titled “Project Sunrise,” envisions a decade-long, $112.1 billion redevelopment effort featuring beachside luxury resorts, high-speed rail, and AI-optimized infrastructure.

The draft proposal was developed by a team led by Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, and U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff, along with senior White House aide Josh Gruenbaum and other administration officials.

The plan is being presented to prospective donor governments via a 32-slide PowerPoint labeled “sensitive but unclassified,” U.S. officials told the Journal.

According to the presentation, Project Sunrise would convert Gaza’s devastated landscape into a modern coastal metropolis. Continue…

Gustavo Petro Challenges Trump and Demands “Returning” Texas to Mexico: Geopolitical and Strategic Risks over Oil and US Sovereignty

https://gatewayhispanic.com/2025/12/gustavo-petro-challenges-trump-demands-returning-texas-mexico/

President Gustavo Petro caused an unexpected international stir by claiming that the United States should “return” Texas, a territory ceded by Mexico after the 1846–1848 war.

In his speech, Petro linked the idea of returning the land with the symbolic recovery of oil resources, suggesting that Mexico could “take back” what it considers historically exploited without compensation.

These statements, made during an official event in Caracas , immediately sparked reactions in diplomatic circles and conservative media, which warn that reviving historical disputes lacks legal basis and constitutes a domestic political strategy.

Texas, with over 29 million inhabitants and a Gross Domestic Product exceeding $2 trillion, remains key in US energy production, a pillar of the country's self-sufficiency and national security. Continue…

Putin Welcomes Failing French President Macron’s Initiative To Re-Engage With Russia – Bilateral Talks May Be Held Shortly

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/12/putin-welcomes-failing-french-president-macrons-initiative-re/

Now, failing Macron wants to hold talks with Putin.

When we look at Emmanuel Macron’s last moves, we can see that the Franch President’s new impulse to hold talks with Russia’s Vladimir Putin as another desperate attempt to remain relevant.

As a part of the ‘coalition of the willing’, Macron was sharing the crowded European stage with UK’s Keir Starmer and Germany’s Friedrich Merz. Together, they were working to derail the peace process.

But Merz took the lead when meaningful negotiations took place days ago in Berlin – not Paris.

So, Macron had to find new ways of remaining ‘relevant’, lest he go back to minding France’s problems, where he holds a pathetic 11% popularity in the polls.

So, on Friday (19), Macron stated that it would be ‘useful’ for Europe to re-engage with Putin.

This is actually a shrewd move, in the sense that none of the other Euro-Globalists can pivot fast enough to steal this new initiative from him.

‘It’s in our interest as Europeans and Ukrainians to find the right framework to re-engage this discussion’.

And so, we’ve come to the point where Macron and Putin may be heading for bilateral talks on Ukraine. Continue…

IS COURT HIDING OUTRAGEOUS PSYCHIATRIC DRUG “TREATMENT” BY SEALING MEDICAL RECORDS OF NICK REINER?

Contrary to what has been reported, Rob and Michele Reiner’s vicious murder was always about mental illness and prescription psychiatric drugs. What isn’t known is whether alleged killer Nick Reiner’s attorney will expose the fraud of psychiatric diagnosing and the dangers associated with psychiatric drugs to save his client from a life of prison hell. It’s a heavy lift but, in the long run, may save some lives besides that of the murderous Nick Reiner.

Prominent high powered attorney Allen Jackson has reportedly been hired by the Reiner family to represent alleged killer, Nick Reiner. In the only press conference about his client, Jackson said, “there are very, very complex and serious issues that are associated with this case,” and “things need to be thoroughly but carefully dealt with and examined and looked at and analyzed.”

With the acknowledgement that Nick Reiner lived a life of mental illness and psychiatric drug use, there certainly are “complex and serious issues.” But the issues aren’t what most people think, including the killer’s own family. Continue…

WATCH: Mayor of Massachusetts City Needs a Translator During Hearing Due to Apparent Inability to Speak English

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/12/watch-mayor-massachusetts-city-needs-translator-during-hearing/

Mass migration has caused one city in Massachusetts to resemble a foreign nation, as even its own mayor seems unable to speak or understand a word of English.

As The Eagle-Tribune reported, Lawrence Mayor Brian DePena testified earlier this month during a hearing in support of former acting police chief William Castro’s appeal against revoked credentials from a 2024 traffic incident.

According to WCVB, Castro “engaged in a motor-vehicle pursuit in violation of the policies of the Lawrence Police Department.” Moreover, he was “untruthful” regarding the chase while he and his superiors failed to investigate the incident independently.

Video has now emerged showing that DePena demanded a translator during the hearing because his English is so pathetic. DePena’s native language is Spanish.

The judge denied DePena’s request to have his personal assistant act as his translator because he and others involved in the case were unable to speak Spanish. Too much could get lost in translation.

According to reports, an official interpreter was used instead. Continue…

Denmark Furious After Trump Names Special Envoy To Greenland

President Donald Trump announced late Sunday on Truth Social that he is appointing Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry to serve as the U.S. Special Envoy to Greenland. The move prompted Denmark's Foreign Minister, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, to summon the U.S. ambassador, saying the appointment suggests continued American interest in the resource-rich island.

"I am pleased to announce that I am appointing the GREAT Governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, as the United States Special Envoy to Greenland. Jeff understands how essential Greenland is to our national security and will strongly advance our country's interests for the safety, security, and survival of our allies, and indeed, the world. Congratulations, Jeff!" Trump wrote in the Truth Social post.

Following Landry's appointment, Rasmussen told Reuters in an emailed statement, "The appointment confirms the continued American interest in Greenland. However, we insist that everyone—including the U.S.—must show respect for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark."

In a separate statement, Rasmussen told CBS News he was "deeply angered" by the appointment and warned Washington to respect Denmark's sovereignty. Continue…

Health Canada is looking at 'safe' indoor temperature limits for Canadian homes

https://www.rebelnews.com/health_canada_is_looking_at_safe_indoor_temperature_limits_for_canadian_homes

From thermal stress standards to smart meters’ remote energy-limiting capabilities, government-enforced energy regulation moves from possibility to probability.

Health Canada has been discussing what constitutes "safe indoor temperature limits" in private homes, citing the growing risks of extreme heat due to climate change.

A Question Period Note from Health Canada, dated June 20, 2025, outlines federal talking points on climate change and extreme heat, as first reported by Blacklock’s.

It explicitly states that the government is "establishing safe indoor temperature limits to keep our homes healthy and cool."

When pressed on what this means, a Health Canada spokesperson quickly backpedalled and insisted that the wording “does not refer to any planned regulation of temperature in homes."

Spokesperson Maryse Durette claimed the department is merely filling "evidence and guidance gaps" on indoor heat, described as the leading cause of heat-related deaths in Canada.

This clarification fuels skepticism of government intentions, especially amid parallel moves at the Labour Department. A July report to the Senate disclosed ongoing revisions to workplace safety rules, introducing "specific limits" for exposure to hot environments and mandating employer procedures to mitigate "thermal stress."

This is more of a pattern of creeping government overreach under the guise of public health and climate action.

Take smart meters, for instance, which are digital devices installed on homes to automatically measure and transmit electricity consumption data to utility companies in real time. They’ve become standard in Canadian households over the past decade, with provincial policies in jurisdictions such as Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia mandating their use.

Utility companies and entities such as Ontario’s Energy Board pushed them for "efficiency" and remote monitoring, but they also enable real-time tracking and, in some programs, remote control of energy use, including air conditioning during peak demand.

“We reserve the right to physically disconnect or limit the amount of electricity that you can use,” notes Hydro One in the ‘conditions of service.’

If "safe indoor limits" ever move beyond vague guidance to enforceable standards, those ubiquitous smart meters could provide the perfect infrastructure for compliance—remotely adjusting thermostats or enforcing caps without ever knocking on your door.

Taken together, these developments create a clear pathway for expanding government regulation of heat exposure, justified under the banner of public health and climate policy.

Are smart meters truly about voluntary guidance, or are they laying the groundwork for broader government control, by way of energy-based credit or compliance systems?

'No remorse': Convicted terrorist denied parole after showing 'no signs of de-radicalization'

https://www.rebelnews.com/_no_remorse_convicted_terrorist_denied_parole_after_showing_no_signs_of_de_radicalization

The Parole Board of Canada has denied parole for 52-year-old Said Namouh, stating the convicted terrorist remains unrepentant and is a danger to Canadians.

A Moroccan man convicted on terrorism charges in Quebec nearly 20 years ago has been denied parole after the Parole Board of Canada asserted he remains a "significant" and "concerning" risk to the public.

The decision was reportedly handed down earlier this month on December 9, with Global News being granted a redacted version of the ruling on Friday.

Said Namouh, 52, joined an Al Qaeda affiliated terrorist group called the Global Islamic Media Front (GIMF) after immigrating to Canada in 2003, according to Global News.

He began working with GIMF operatives in Europe in 2006 in an attempt to use violence — specifically a suicide bomb attack — to further the group's extremist religious objectives.

Namouh was eventually arrested in 2007 and convicted on four counts of terrorism-related charges. He was sentenced to life in prison in 2010, but the conditions allowed him to begin applying for parole after 10 years of incarceration.

The Parole Board that denied him bail on December 9 stated in its ruling that “no signs of de-radicalization have been observed” in Namouh.

The convicted terrorist reportedly refused to participate in a psychological risk assessment, and the Parole Board has labelled Namouh as having a “significant/concerning risk of violent recidivism.”

The Parole Board noted that Namouh has been leading Muslim prayers in prison despite being ordered not to, and received a warning from prison officials regarding "religious pamphlets" found in his cell. It also asserted that Namouh's current claims that he no longer believes in “jihad aimed at fighting injustice and oppression,” cannot be trusted.

The Moroccan immigrant was previously “convinced that it was justified to give your life for jihad,” and believed in “ideas promoting violence in the name of your religion," the Parole Board stated.

Namouh was one of the first people to be convicted under Canada's anti-terrorism laws that were enacted in response to the September 11, 2001, World Trade Center attacks in New York City, where Al Qaeda terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people.

The parole ruling comes amid heightened security tensions in Canada as three men in Toronto were charged just last week for hate-related offences targeting Jews and women.

Thieves dressed as Santa Claus, elves rob Montreal grocery store in protest of rising food prices

https://thepostmillennial.com/thieves-dressed-as-santa-claus-elves-rob-montreal-grocery-store-in-protest-of-rising-food-prices

Dozens of people dressed as Santa Claus and elves shoplifted roughly $3,000 worth of food from a Montreal grocery store in an act of political protest regarding food affordability.

The group behind the theft, Robin des Ruelles, which translates to “Robins of the Alleys,” claimed responsibility for the Robin Hood-inspired action. In a social media post, the group said several individuals dressed as Santa, along with about 40 masked “accomplices in elf costumes,” entered a Metro grocery store and stole food with the intention of distributing it to people in need across the city.

A spokesperson for Montreal police said authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and videos posted on social media, but no arrests had been made as of Thursday, according to CityNews Toronto. Videos of the incident quickly went viral online, with the group framing the theft as a political call to action. Another activist organization circulated a statement titled “When hunger justifies the means.”

The group criticized major grocery chains, arguing that inflation has made food unaffordable for many Canadians.

“We are working more and more just to be able to buy food from supermarket chains that take advantage of inflation as a pretext to make record profits,” the group stated. “There is no other way to put it: a handful of companies are holding our basic needs hostage.”

Metro responded with a statement disputing this characterization, saying food inflation is driven by multiple factors throughout the supply chain. The company also noted it donated more than $1 million in 2025 and provided over $81 million worth of food products to food banks.

“It should be noted that as a retailer, we are the final stop in the supply chain,” said spokesperson Geneviève Grégoire, per the outlet. “The prices on store shelves directly reflect the costs of the supply chain.”

Federal Conservative MP Aaron Gunn is seeking public input on what he describes as the “toughest decision” of his life—pursuing the leadership of the B.C. Conservative Party or continuing to serve in federal parliament as an MP.

Gunn announced earlier this month that he was “seriously considering” running for the leadership of the B.C. Conservative Party after John Rustad stepped down from the role on Dec. 4.

Now the North Island-Powell River MP is asking for feedback via a survey posted to social media.

“This is obviously a huge decision, and I want to give you a chance to weigh in,” he said in a Dec. 20 X post that was accompanied by a link to the survey.

The three-question survey asks if he should run for the leadership of the provincial party, if respondents would consider joining the B.C. Conservatives to cast their vote for him, and what they perceive to be the most pressing issue confronting British Columbia.

He said his phone, inbox, and social media have been flooded with comments urging him to make the jump from federal to provincial politics and attributed the feedback to a desire for change after an NDP government being at the helm of the province for eight years. Continue…

Eight people in Southern Ontario are facing charges following a nearly year-long investigation into the trafficking of fentanyl and methamphetamine across the province.

York Regional Police launched operation Project Endless last December targeting a suspect believed to be engaged in the import and export of large quantities of controlled substances, police said in a Dec. 22 press release.

The investigation, conducted in collaboration with the Ontario Provincial Police Border Drug Interdiction Task Force and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, identified additional suspects linked to the trafficking of drugs across York region and the remainder of the province, police said.

The region forms the northern boundary of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and includes the cities of Markham, Richmond Hill, and Vaughan, along with the towns of Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, Newmarket, Whitchurch-Stouffville, and the township of King.

Five search warrants were executed at residences in the GTA on Oct. 25. Police said officers confiscated a “large quantity” of controlled substances including, raw fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) tablets, and illegal cannabis. Officers also seized more than $300,000 in cash, three firearms with ammunition, and two vehicles.

Eight people are facing 34 charges in connection with the investigation. Continue…

Canadian miner's highly lucrative exit from the nuclear depression

https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/canadian-miners-highly-lucrative-exit-from-the-nuclear-depression

Saskatoon-headquartered Cameco, the world’s largest publicly traded uranium company, is thriving via America's appetite for nuclear power

We’re nearing year-end, and there’s much doom and gloom. Canada’s economy is falling behind its OECD peers while projected equalization numbers show all provinces from Manitoba east on the receiving end of federal transfers next year.

A conversation with Tim Gitzel — CEO of Saskatoon-headquartered Cameco, the world’s largest publicly traded uranium company, valued at nearly US$40 billion — is a positive reminder of what’s working.

“We just work hard and stay humble and we work together and cooperate and we don’t look for handouts,” Tim shares. “We try and stay humble, because we’ve lived through the depression — I say that in the nuclear sense.”

What’s the nuclear depression? It’s the decade following the 2011 Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster in Japan, the worst nuclear accident since Chernobyl.

“2007 to 2011, it was glory days,” he says, “everybody was building, we were producing, we were starting up new (uranium) mines, and then, bingo, March 11th, 2011, and the market went off the table. The price of uranium went from $73 US to $17… and we had all this oversupply.

“We went through 10 years, counting pencils,” he shares sombrely. “…We’re going to charge for coffee, because it was that tight. That made us really humble about our business.”

The stories told by this quiet-spoken, unassuming Saskatchewan-born CEO in his blue suit and tie almost sound too good to be true. Today, he’s now leading a vertically integrated nuclear company with uranium mines and projects in northern Saskatchewan, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kazakhstan and Australia. The company is the largest industrial employer of Indigenous people in Canada. Continue…

Judge reduces sex criminal's jail time because of his race

https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/judge-reduces-sex-criminals-jail-time-because-of-his-race

A former university football player who sexually assaulted two women has been sentenced to just two years in prison because he is black and was feeling intense pressure around the time of the attacks, the judge said.

Omogbolahan Jegede, 25, had choked one of the women almost into unconsciousness.

“It should be noted that but, for the contents of the Impact of Race and Culture Assessment (IRCA), the pre-sentence report and all the mitigating factors surrounding Omogbolahan (Teddy) Jegede, this sentence would have been much higher,” Justice Frank Hoskins said in his Nova Scotia Supreme Court decision on Wednesday.

The women were attacked in residences at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, N.S., in 2022 and 2023. One woman testified that Jegede choked her; one woman was forced to perform oral sex. Both women said they were physically dominated by Jegede, who is much larger than they are.

The author of an Impact of Race and Culture Assessment, a report funded under a new initiative from the Trudeau Liberals, wrote that Jegede was feeling intense pressure around the time of the assaults and did not have culturally appropriate support to turn to.

Jegede was convicted in a jury trial this year and sentenced Wednesday. Justice Hoskins added three years of probation, although he said that term could be shortened if Jegede makes significant progress in counselling.

The Crown had requested a sentence of up to 36 months, while defence counsel asked the judge to consider a conditional sentence to be served in the community. Continue…

Carney appoints BlackRock insider as U.S. Ambassador amid trade tension

https://www.rebelnews.com/carney_appoints_blackrock_insider_as_u_s_ambassador_amid_trade_tension

The Prime Minister has installed ex-BlackRock executive Mark Wiseman, who has a history of elite globalist interests, as U.S. ambassador.

Prime Minister Mark Carney has dropped a pre-Christmas bombshell, tapping his banking buddy and former BlackRock bigwig Mark Wiseman as Canada's next ambassador to the United States.

It’s the same Mark Wiseman who served as Senior Managing Director at BlackRock, heading up active equities and chairing their massive alternatives business. He’s raked in fortunes managing trillions while rubbing shoulders with the global financial elite.

Now, starting February 15, 2026, he'll be Canada’s top diplomat in Washington, just in time for the crucial 2026 review of CUSMA — the trilateral trade agreement governing hundreds of billions of dollars in cross-border commerce.

Carney's press release gushes about Wiseman's "immense experience" from running the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and chairing Alberta's investment Corp, but this appointment showcases the increasing overlap between political leadership and global financial institutions.

Wiseman has deep ties to BlackRock, the trillion-dollar behemoth pushing ESG agendas and influencing global markets, though it’s not clear how a career forged in multinational finance aligns with the role of defending Canadian workers, industries, and national interests during high-stakes trade negotiations.

After all, Wiseman has no prior diplomatic experience, yet he will be tasked with managing Canada’s most consequential bilateral relationship during a period of strained political relations with the United States.

How is he supposed to fiercely defend Canadian workers and businesses when his career is steeped in the very institutions that often put profits over people?

Although Carney once promised an ‘elbows-up’ approach to U.S. tariffs to defend Canadian workers, this appointment appears to further concentrate power within a small circle of economic and political elites, leaving workers sidelined.

This reeks, once again, of the Liberal elite club looking out for their own.
