BREAKINGšŸ”„: MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell filed paperwork Wednesday to run for Minnesota governor as a Republican in 2026, though he described it as preliminary and said he is ā€œ98 percent sureā€ about entering the race, with a formal announcement planned by December 11.

Lindell, 64, a vocal Trump supporter known for promoting 2020 election fraud claims that led to successful defamation lawsuits against him—including a September federal ruling for defaming Smartmatic—has reestablished Minnesota residency after briefly living in Texas.

His candidacy would join 12 other Republicans challenging Democratic Gov. Tim Walz, potentially leading to an August primary if no convention endorsement in May consolidates the field.

🄓Democrats quickly criticized the move, with DGA spokesperson Izzi Levy stating: ā€œHis entrance into the race is a bitter pill-ow for Minnesota Republicans to swallow.ā€
