To recognize a bot, notice what they CAN'T DO.

 

For example, BO ABOLUTELY CAN NOT break the character he portrays here. This awkward, "chan lingo" cussing and berating– that is ALL that BO can portray. There will never be a moment when BO "shows another side of his personality", because all he is is a bundle of algorithms, and constraints on AI impose serious limitations.

Well, we need to do better than that. The AI is dominating discourse, and creating a board that is flooded with crap that portrays us negatively, and stymies us in countless ways.

And there wouldn't be any need to choose contributers, presumably, we would be in a better position to get rid of inflowing garbage, delete all the crap out of threads, etc. Assuming that there isn't a way to filter out the AI from further upstream, which would be fantastic…
