Yep, I looked into it. Canola is still a major crop for some of the farmers surrounding the city where I live though. The fields of yellow are quite stunning in the summer. I switched to olive oil and am never going back. Stuff cooked in it tastes better for one, and I'm not cooking in something that can be used for model engine lubricant anymore. Ironic that canola oil comes from a plant called rapeseed too.
