Well since this topic going around again. Making all drugs illegal necessitated the creation of the medical industry/mafia that used it's now endless supply of money to stymie real cures and treatments, and lobby and control the government. Killed or crippled 100s of millions of people worldwide with intentionally bad health advice, toxic treatments, and injections intended to create lifelong chronic disease to profit off of even more. Is that better than the number lives that would have been destroyed by drug abuse? Lives are still being destroyed by drug abuse even with them being illegal. I don't know the right answer, but the decision to make all drugs completely illegal looks like it enabled a worse evil from what I've seen.
That doesn't address my primary point/question.
