Was in line at the grocery store and the elderly woman in front of me and I got to talking. She said her husband was a retired police officer, and she said this was the first time she’s ever heard her husband complain about Donald Trump. When I asked her what he said, she said he’s sick and tired of Trump breaking his campaign promises. She went onto say they were both really disappointed that he didn’t build the wall, drain the swamp, or lock her up, but they gave him another chance in 2024. And so far, they’re both really disappointed with him. The husband even more so than her, which she thought would never happen. I guess it’s true, Trump really is throwing us (his base) under the bus.
