Judicial Watch announced today it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for FBI records on Hillary Clinton’s deceased brother, Tony Rodham (Judicial Watch v U.S. Department of Justice (No.1:25-cv-04237)).

Judicial Watch sued in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after the Justice Department failed to respond adequately to a June 10, 2019, FOIA request for FBI records about Rodham. Judicial Watch is asking for:

All records related to Anthony Dean Rodham, born in August 1954 in Park Ridge, Illinois, who died on June 7, 2019, including but not limited to: investigative reports; 302s; witness statements; Confidential Human Source reporting (FD 1023 forms); meetings/contacts (FD 209a forms); cables; letterhead memoranda; and communications sent to and from FBI officials regarding Mr. Rodham.

In August 2019, the FBI acknowledged it had located over 13,000 pages of records responsive to the request, as well as audio and video files that are potentially responsive to the request. Judicial Watch acknowledged its continued interest in having the request processed without modification of its scope. Having received no further response from the FBI, Judicial Watch filed suit.

A federal judge has dealt a setback to Justice Department efforts to seek a new indictment against former FBI Director James Comey, temporarily barring prosecutors from using evidence they had relied on when they initially secured criminal charges.

This isn’t what happened. What happened was that the in 2017, Comey’s lawyer, Richman, cooperated with the FBI when they were investigating Comey. He allowed them to image his computer and iCloud. They were allowed to look for specific things, as spelled out by a subpoena. The investigation was closed in 2021.

When Trump got back into office this time around, the DOJ opened a different investigation into Comey and looked at those files again. That’s a no, no because 1. they didn’t get a warrant, or 2 ask for Richman’s permission. In fact, Richman didn’t even know they had used those materials (some which may be attorney-client privileged) until the DOJ botched Comey’s indictment.

When Richman found out, he filed a motion to prevent the DOJ and FBI from going through those files again. He filed for a temporary injunction.

The court granted it, because the DOJ didn’t answer Richman’s suit. That’s shear incompetence – AGAIN. Once the DOJ gets their ass out of the ground, they can respond.

TLDR: Trump’s DOJ is incompetent.

The arrest came nearly five years after the Biden DOJ's discovery.

Federal court filings indicate the Biden FBI identified the January 6 pipe bomber as early as April 2021 but did not move to arrest or charge the suspect for several years, according to an affidavit and a report released by the January 6 Select Subcommittee.

Virginia Grand Jury Refuses To Indict Letitia James

A federal grand jury in deep blue Norfolk, Virginia has refused to indict New York Attorney General Letitia James on mortgage fraud charges. James was previously indicted earlier this year, though the case was tossed by a federal judge on a technicality surrounding the appointment of interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, Lindsey Halligan.

Halligan initially presented the facts of the case to the grand jury herself, but that case was declared void on November 24 when U.S. District Judge Cameron Currie declared that her appointment was unlawful. Official reports released by the Israeli military indicate an unprecedented rise in suicide rates among its soldiers.

Based on official data published by the Israeli occupation army, the number of suicides among its soldiers has sharply increased since the beginning of the genocidal war in Gaza on October 7, 2023.

According to the Palestinian Information Center, this rise has been attributed to the growing psychological pressures caused by the ongoing conflict.

Based on these figures, from October 7 until the end of 2023, seven active-duty soldiers committed suicide. In 2024, an additional 21 suicide cases were recorded among Israeli soldiers.
