Sweetie, in the 1960s-70s Cold War period we had Nuclear Fallout Drills. Ear piercing sirens through the school and we had to crawl under our desks, get on our knees and keep our head down between. I guess the nuclear 'fallout' would land on the desk and we'd be safe. Kek. The shits been going on a long time and nuclear drills were going on long before fire drills. I never had a fire drill till high school.
