Ok, here we go…the circle of Rosenstein, Muller and Comey.

Rod Rosenstein…oh Rod…such a world-class liar.

During the Whitewater Investigation, Rod Rosenstein was working for Robert Mueller from 1990 -1993. Interesting that years later, Rosenstein appoints Mueller to Special Council on the Russian Collusion witch hunt.

Also during the Whitewater investigation, James Comey was part of the Senate Special Council investigating Whitewater.

So there we have a connection in the 1990s between Mueller, Rosenstein and Comey…and it didn't end there.

Also interesting is that Rosenstein's wife, Lisa Barsoomian, who works for R. Craig Lawrence. Who is R. Craig Lawrence, you ask? He is the laywer that has represented such names as Robert Mueller, James Comey, Barrack Obama as well as Bill and Hillary Clinton, Janet Reno and others.

Then, of course, you have the Rosenstein/Comey/Mueller trio who have been in each other's orbits since the 1990s. Now, this part gets a bit convoluted.

We have the Whitewater investigations mentioned above.

The in 2001, Robert Mueller was appointed Director of the FBI and Rosenstein was Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Tax Division of the DOJ, a position he held between 2001 and 2005.

In 2003, James Comey is appointed as Deputy Attorney General, a position he holds until late 2004 when he becomes the Acting Attorney General and then the Attorney general, a position he holds until October of 2005 when he leaves the position to go to work for Lockheed Martin.

So, from 2001-2005 we have James Comey as Deputy Attorney General, acting Attorney General then Attorney general…Mueller as FBI Director and Rosenstein as the Principle council in the DOJ's Tax Division.

Now, in March of 2004, Comey and Muller race, sirens blaring, to the hospital bedside of John Ashcroft (who was then the Attorney General) to head off Antonio Gonzalez and Andrew Card who were trying to coerce Ashcroft into approving a secret surveillance program. Later Comey, Mueller and about a dozen others threatened to resign if the program was approved.

Now, in 2005 Rosenstein was appointed as the United States Attorney in Maryland under George W. Bush. His appointment was unanimously confirmed, by the way. He held this position until 2007 when Bush nominated him to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals but that nomination was blocked by two senators.

In 2013, after 5 years at Lockheed, 3 years at Bridgewater Associates and less than a year at HSBC London, Obama appointed Comey to the FBI Director Position, which he held until being fired by Trump in May of 2017.

In February of 2017, Rod Rosenstein was appointed as Deputy Attorney General by Trump. On May 8th, Rosenstein drafted the memo that ultimately got Comey fired (then complained about COmey getting fired…go figure). Also in May 2017 he appointed Robert Mueller as Special Council supposedly to investigate Trump-Russia Collusion in the 2016 election. From my point of view, Mueller seems to be doing everything EXCEPT investigate collusion.

So, here we have Mueller, Comey and Rosenstein literally circling each other for nearly three decades now.
