The approach to Wilkes-Barre is a dangerous one. The main runway begins/ends on the edge of a large mountain peak.

Flown there many times. It's dicey and well-known for the dangerous approach. POTUS is in the best of hands. There is no "B"-team in the cockpit of AF1.
Place has a history, tho.
