Elissa Slotkin Suddenly Claims Democrats Made the ‘Illegal Orders’ Video Because They Were Approached by Concerned Military Members

by Mike LaChance Dec. 9, 2025

Weeks after Elissa Slotkin and other Democrats released a bizarre and seditious video, telling members of the U.S. Military that it was OK to refuse supposedly ‘illegal’ orders from President Trump, the Commander in Chief, Slotkin is now trying to cover her tracks.

In a recent conversation with the far-left ‘Daily Beast’ Slotkin suddenly claimed that the only reason that Democrats released that video is because they were approached by so many members of the military who were concerned about this very thing:

One of the Democratic senators whom Donald Trump said should be executed for sedition isn’t backing down.

Sen. Elissa Slotkin, one of six prominent Democratic lawmakers and former service members who appeared in a video urging U.S. troops and intelligence officers to reject any unlawful commands, said on The Daily Beast Podcast that military personnel have expressed anguish to her over carrying out questionable orders since then.

“Certainly, since we made the video, people have been finding their way to us just to say, hey, we’ve been expressing this angst amongst ourselves,” the Michigan lawmaker said. “This was not coming out of nowhere.”

The lawmakers remind service members in the video that they took an oath to uphold the Constitution and can refuse to follow illegal orders under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

The group includes Slotkin and Sen. Mark Kelly, as well as Reps. Chrissy Houlahan, Chris Deluzio, Maggie Goodlander, and Jason Crow. “Know that we have your back, because now, more than ever, the American people need you,” the lawmakers said.

Though they didn’t specify which orders they were referring to, the video was released amid intensifying scrutiny over the president’s deployment of federal troops in American cities and the Trump administration’s strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean.

Does anyone believe this?

It is far more likely, that these Democrats got the idea for this stunt from a never-Trump columnist at The Atlantic. They stupidly ran with it, without considering how dangerous and inappropriate it was and now they have spent weeks trying to defend it.

There is no defense for this. They should face serious consequences for doing it.

Intel Shares Fall After Lawsuits Claim US Chipmakers Aided Russian Weapons

by Tyler Durden Wednesday, Dec 10, 2025 - 12:05 PM

Intel shares slipped in early trading Wednesday after the company was named in a series of lawsuits accusing major U.S. chipmakers of failing to stop their technology from ending up in Russian weapons used against civilians in Ukraine.

Intel, Advanced Micro Devices and Texas Instruments — along with Mouser Electronics, a Berkshire Hathaway–owned distributor — are alleged to have shown “willful ignorance” as restricted semiconductors were resold through third parties to Russia and Iran, according to five suits filed Wednesday in Texas state court.

The cases, brought on behalf of dozens of Ukrainian civilians, cite five attacks from 2023 to 2025 that killed and injured civilians. The filings claim the companies’ components were found in Iranian-made drones tied to Intel and AMD, as well as Russian Iskander and KH-101 missiles.

The defendants allegedly failed to prevent illegal diversions despite U.S. sanctions, amounting to “domestic corporate negligence.” Mass-tort lawyer Mikal Watts filed the suits in Dallas, arguing Texas jurisdiction because the companies operate in the state.

Mouser, acquired by Berkshire in 2007, is accused of helping route chips from Intel, TI and others to shell companies controlled by Russian proxies. The distributor’s U.S.-based logistics were a “substantial domestic component” of the harm, one suit claims.

Intel, AMD, TI, Mouser and Berkshire Hathaway didn’t immediately comment. All three chipmakers have previously said they fully comply with export rules, oppose any use of their technology in Russian weapons and ended business in Russia after the invasion.

Bloomberg reporting last year found U.S. chips continue to power Russian drones, missiles and communications systems despite sanctions, prompting repeated warnings from U.S. lawmakers that manufacturers must do more to stop the flow.

The cases, brought on behalf of dozens of Ukrainian civilians…. Yeah?, brought on by whom and for what "civilians"

US seizes VLCC off Venezuela

Sam Chambers December 11, 2025

US forces have seized a tanker widely believed to be the VLCC Skipper, after satellite evidence showed the 310,000 dwt vessel covertly loaded 1.1m barrels of sanctioned Venezuelan Merey crude at the port of Jose – despite broadcasting falsified AIS positions placing it far away.

The Trump administration confirmed the operation on Wednesday, describing the target only as a “very large tanker, the largest one ever seized”, but multiple maritime intelligence groups – including Vanguard and Kpler – have identified the vessel as the Skipper, long linked to sanction-evasion trades spanning Venezuela, Iran and Asia. The Skipper, formerly called Adisa, operates under a false Guyanese flag.

Kpler imagery from November 14 clearly shows Skipper loading at Jose, contradicting AIS signals that placed the ship near Guyana’s Liza Destiny and Liza Unity FPSOs. Market reports indicate the vessel loaded 1.1m barrels of Merey on November 16, with Cuba listed as the destination and Cubametales as charterer.

The tanker has been repeatedly tied to falsified AIS trails, misdeclared cargoes and deceptive ship-to-ship activity. In July, Skipper transmitted positions suggesting a call at Iraq’s Basrah oil terminal, but satellite imagery checked by Kpler instead showed the ship at Iran’s Kharg Island loading crude under spoofed coordinates. After sailing east, it completed an STS transfer with the VLCC Luois off Hong Kong in August, a cargo later discharged in China under false paperwork claiming it was Angolan Girassol.

After looping back to Iranian waters, the tanker headed west, rounding the Cape of Good Hope before reappearing off Guyana and Suriname in late October – a typical dark fleet pattern designed to obscure provenance.

The US has not disclosed the ship’s current location or the status of its crew, but the capture marks one of Washington’s most significant enforcement actions against the shadow fleet, and casts Venezuela’s oil export capabilities into doubt.

Venezuela’s government has blasted the US seizure of the VLCC off its coast as “blatant theft” and “an act of international piracy.” Interior minister Diosdado Cabello escalated the rhetoric further, labelling the US “murderers, thieves, [and] pirates.” Caracas said it will take the case to international bodies, vowing to formally denounce the incident on the global stage.
