BREAKING: The Augsburg University public safety officer who witnessed the ICE arrest of a "criminal illegal alien sex offender" and told Alpha News a university administrator (not ICE) escalated the situation – has now RESIGNED.
"I cannot with a clear conscience continue to work for this University. The events that transpired on December 6th 2025, are unfixable in my belief. I witnessed University staff using force, resistance and obstruction against federal law enforcement officers. I cannot allow myself to be associated with something like that. I'm terminating my employment effective immediately. I am also notifying the school that I will be filing an OSHA complaint. I feel I was placed in a situation of great danger, because of the negligence of a school administrator." - John LeVasseur

CVN-72 Is In Guam
Just as CVN-73 arrived in Yokosuka, the fifth Nimitz-class flattop USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) made a scheduled port visit to Guam.
"Our Strike Group presence in 7th Fleet waters demonstrates our commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific," said Rear Adm. Todd Whalen, commander, Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group. "Port calls to strategic locations like Guam enhance our mission readiness and help us stay ready to execute maritime operations in theater."
