It's NASA's own fault for erasing/misplacing/losing the telemetry tapes that could have gone so far towards proving its assertion of going to the moon, AND presenting the classical scientific principle of offering others the details which NASA used so that others my duplicate the moon landing.
Since NASA can't present proof of its assertions, its perfectly natural for ANYONE to consider NASA is full of shit.
