🚨🇺🇸 BROWN UNIVERSITY SHOOTER IN CUSTODY: CAMPUS SHATTERED, QUESTIONS JUST BEGINNING

 

The masked gunman who opened fire at Brown University in Providence, RI is now in custody, bringing a terrifying active shooter situation to an end.

 

But the damage is done. Multiple students were shot.

 

Police flooded the Ivy League campus, rescue units were pulled in from across the city, and buildings were cleared room by room as panic spread and families held their breath.

 

This wasn’t just another “incident,” this was a direct assault on one of America’s most prestigious universities, and yet another reminder that no ZIP code, no level of privilege, and no place of learning is immune.

 

The shooter is down. But now come the hard questions:

  • Who was he?

  • Why did he target Brown?

  • And how did we once again end up here?

 

The campus may be secure now, but the system clearly isn’t.
