Dual purpose of shootings

1. Distraction. This is the one people always think of. Change the media topics, get eyes away from subjects that hurt [them].

1. It is a threat to Trump and anyone on the "good guys" side that if they keep pushing, there will be more shootings. This is often overlooked and I think it requires more attention. This could also explain why things aren't able to happen faster. Imagine if something threatened big pharma's revenue stream, what threats they're willing to make to retain that.
