Biden State Dept Appeared To Ignore Emails From Would-Be Trump Assassin

Would-be Trump assassin Ryan Routh tried — and seemingly failed — to get the Biden State Department to aid in his effort to recruit foreign soldiers for the war in Ukraine, emails obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show

The records, which were released as a result of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the Center to Advance Security in America (CASA), raise questions about who was aware of Routh’s activities and whether there was any formal attempt to follow up with him.

Routh was convicted for attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump at his West Palm Beach golf course in September 2024, just two months after a gunman’s bullet grazed Trump’s ear at a Butler, Pennsylvania rally.

Despite the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initiating an effort in 2022 designed to identify Americans who might turn violent after returning from the war in Ukraine, Routh seemingly was not investigated, Politico reported in September 2024.

Routh self-published a book in 2023 on “Ukraine’s Unwinnable War,” which included a line that seemed to tell Iran it was “free to assassinate Trump.” He was also interviewed in a March 2023 New York Times article about Americans who traveled to Ukraine to volunteer with the war effort.

Another American who met Routh in Ukraine warned U.S. authorities about his threats of violence, informing a Customs and Border Protection official in June 2022 that he was a “ticking time bomb,” the Wall Street Journal reported in September 2024.

“Through aggressive FOIA litigation, CASA has uncovered Ryan Routh’s attempts to communicate with the Biden State Department,” CASA Director James Fitzpatrick told the DCNF.

“Several unanswered questions remain regarding these communications,” Fitzpatrick said. “We still don’t know whether the Biden administration responded in any substantive way to Routh and the contents of those communications – the American people deserve answers here and CASA will continue to fight through this litigation to shed as much light on Routh’s officials communications as possible.”

The State Department and DHS did not respond to requests for comment.

Farage Accuses Gov’t of ‘State-Sponsored Child Abuse’ by Allowing Puberty Blocker Trials

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage accused the leftist Labour government of enabling “state-sponsored child abuse” by allowing clinical trials of puberty-blocking drugs on children.

Last year, Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) said that in the wake of a landmark report from top paediatrician Dr Hillary Cass, it would stop prescribing puberty blockers to children. However, the NHS left the door open to clinical trials of such drugs on children to study their effects.

This has paved the way for King’s College announcing last month plans to study 250 children who are alleged to be transgender. The children, aged between 10 and 15 years old, will receive puberty blocking drugs over a period of two years while clinicians study the impacts on their physical and mental development.

Professor Emily Simonoff, who will lead the study, has said that parents will need to continually provide consent on behalf of their children throughout the process. However, critics have noted that the children themselves are not in a position to give consent to the potentially life-altering drugs.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has called on the left-wing Labour Party government to shut down the study, while vowing to do so himself if his party takes power at the next general election, The Telegraph reported.

In a letter to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, Mr Farage wrote that the “trial represents state-sponsored child abuse, dressed up as research, and is wholly incompatible with the NHS duty to safeguard children and do no harm.”

A newly-declassified internal FBI investigative timeline also argued that claims that the statute of limitations had run out on the Uranium One inquiry “failed to include whether Acts of Concealment such as deleting emails in 2015 and making additional statements and representations about those deletions would have extended the statute of limitations” and also pointed to possible federal criminal statutes such as the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, major fraud against the United States, and bank fraud.

The timeline also argued that 18 U.S. Code § 3287 — Wartime Suspension of Statute of Limitations Act — should have extended the statute of limitations for this alleged criminality as well.

Tucker Carlson visits Gaza refugees, accuses Israel of murdering children

Media personality and political commentator Tucker Carlson and his team visited some of the 2,000 Palestinians from Gaza who have been taken in by Qatar – including orphans and child amputees – during his recent trip to Doha.

In a new episode on December 11 of the Tucker Carlson Show, released after the visit, Carlson showcased footage from inside the Qatari facilities hosting the refugees, and issued some of his strongest statements yet about Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Carlson also expressed his discomfort with filming the refugees who have suffered through so much. “We didn’t want to stick a big camera into the people’s faces, so we shot with an iPhone,” he said.

He said he and his team “had to hold back tears” as they witnessed what he called “the cruelty of the evil Israeli regime”, expressed through the injuries of children. “Disfigured kids with their limbs blown off, and mangled faces. The real crime is that the supporters of this atrocity are justifying it,” Carlson said.

The former CNN and Fox News commentator added that Israel shot “dozens and dozens of journalists so that no one can film what’s happening”. Besides, Carlson said, Qatar wanted to evacuate and host far more Palestinians, but Israel “would not allow it”.

The episode and his visit to the Gaza refugees have received a wave of praise on social media this week, as well as some criticism that claimed that Carlson was “antisemitic”.
