I have never understood the whole concept of the clock till yesterday. I thought the timestamp of Q/Q+ posts pointed to the dates and comments from the past (it all seemed so random). What I didn't get was that Q/Q+ CONTROL the timestamp. This may have been brought up in the past, but I never got it.
